Best off-road bike and best motorcycle for racing?

Is the best off-road bike still the Sanchez or BF400 and is the best motorcycle still the Akuma or Bati?

 

For racing of course.

 

Or have things changed?

Definitely the BF400 for Off-Road races, though it can be a bit bouncy compared to the Sanchez.

 

Hakuchou Drag or Shotaro for regular motorbike races. Originally I had no intentions of buying the Shotaro, but after having used it enough whilst playing Deadline, I decided to pick one up. It seems a bit easier to handle compared to the Drag, but this will be subjective based on driving preferences.

 

The Akuma and Bati can still be competitive, but much will depend on the specific tracks in question. I still have my Akuma and will not sell it.

I agree on the BF400, apart from being a good racer it's a great ride.

 

For the street/superbikes, though, you have to consider the track. If it's a technical track, go for the Shotaro. If straight line speed is key, the Hakuchou Drag will win. Can't go wrong with a few extras like the Sanchez, Bati or Akuma, though, as they are still decently competitive in most cases.

Edit: bf 400 for the offroads and shotaro for anything regular.

Regular hakuchou if lots of straights are involved.

I agree on the BF400, apart from being a good racer it's a great ride.

 

I prefer good old Sanchez for off-road cruising. The BF400 is of course way faster, but it turns too much like a bus for my taste.

BF400 is the best motorcycle to take offroad, the Bati is better in races that have a lot of straight lines while the Hakucho Drag is the best thing around the track overall in turning and braking.

The BF400 Offroad. On road depends on the track: If you have a race with a lot of tight turns, long jumps and not a lot high speed parts, the shotaro is the best. If you have a race with a lot of high speed parts, or speed changes (need of brakes) the Hakachou Drag is the best. At least for me.

A couple of us mentioned that they can both still be competitive (depending on the track), but there are many options to consider here. The differences are not as drastic as say Stirling GT versus Monroe, but if you're going up against excellent drivers, you may want to consider the Drag or Shotaro. If you're going up against people who crash and die many times, you could probably use most faster bikes in general and often come out ahead. This also depends on how well you do with motorbikes yourself.

 

Give it the Bati and Akuma a try in random races (among Shotaros and Drags), see how well you do, and go from there.

Yep, Sanchez was the best off road vehicle in the game and the manchez is better than that!
