I didn't have any crash after the last update. Are you sure you used the updated version? And "cops in car fire" work for the default police models only.

They should appear. Do the following:
- activate the menu,
- select the wanted star you want the car to appear,
- select the city (if you chose zone settings),

 

- if you press number 7 on the left side of the keyboard it will activate the menu for the current wanted star (and zone),


- now select the 1st row (cars, peds, guns, occupants),

- a menu will appear with 6 lines for models so pick one of them,

- the next step is to choose between vehicle, ped or a weapon so select the vehicle

Once you select the vehicle it will lead you to a vehicle models list.

The same goes for peds except for the last step where you need to choose the ped instead of the vehicle and also which ped (driver, passenger0...) which will lead you to the ped models list.

 

To find your vehicle or a ped you need to know its ID since the wl editor can not recognize its name. Use right and left keys to navigate (if you want to navigate faster then use lctrl + right or lctrl + left).

 

Note: The mod is updated - there was a problem with the menu.

Apparently this mod automatically disables invincibility, do you know the reason of it? Also, random crashes are also common after installing this, I also installed the mod properly.

I found a few issues with the cheat menu, the text overlaps with each other and some options, such as color, don't appear in the menu.

Oh yeah, and everytime I try and go to general settings, it just sends me to the countryside settings.

Hey sorry if this was asked before, but is there a way for npcs rope down from an helicopter added with fastman's limit adjuster, just like the swat do on vanilla lvl 4?

About the crashes - probably mod incompability. Try on the clean game. If the problem continuous - start disabling some parts of the wanted level like boats, planes, helicopters, roadblocks...
Start with the helicopters - they were always causing problems in the previous mod versions.
About the invincibility - just use some other invincibility mod...

When the menu send you to the contryside settings - go back and select again. That should bypass the problem.
I'll deal with the menu details later.

80% is done. It took longer then I expected - gta3 is a very limited game.

I could give you the incomplete mod if you still want to use it.

That's easy - just put the added helicopter to the wanted level with this mod (make sure it spawns normally before you do anything).

Some mod options are not functional but most of them are.
Also the mod is not tested for the added vehicles, peds or weapons but I'm pretty sure it will work just fine.
There are 12 wanted stars. The 3rd one is heavily modified.
Other then that everything is set to default (stars above 6 have the same settings as the 6th star).

Suggestion: any chances to modify all stars above the 3rd star? To make them more challenging, like adding more people in the chase along with giving more powerful weapons and increasing the accuracy of the people, while the player gets more stars. I don't have time to test right now. Thank you.

I have installed like 200 cars in a clean gta sa, i just have insttaled fatsman92limitadjuster, open limit adjuster and modloader

That's totaly up tou you. That's why I called it the editor - so everyone can use it to edit the wanted level.
Changing the 3rd star was just a showcase of what the mod can actually do.

I don't know - sorry. It might be that the crash is not related with the wl editor at all.

It looks like I forgot to add that option into the xml file. It's added now - the link for gta3 has been updated... Open the xml - change the number of stars and save.

This mod does not work for me, i'm running gta sa 1.0(hoodlum) + silent asi loader and cleo 4.3.22 Its weird because I can run any asi mod just fine from game directory (right now I'm using SilentPatchSA.asi and GInputSA.asi)
No menu can show up when pressing ~ and changing gameplay settings in xml does nothing, wtf?

No - not that I know about. But I hope it will when I make it fully compatible.

Hi! I have to ask these:
- Did you put the fxt file inside the cleo_text folder (it's necessary for the menu)?
- Are the xml and asi files inside the game directory?
- Did you save the xml file when you changed the data?
- Which settings did you change exactly?

 

And "LeaveTownChaos" option was working only if a player's wanted is above 1 star (2, 3, 4...).
Now it works for all stars (the link for gta sa has been updated).

 

Also, I use SilentPatch but not ginput because I don't need it so I've never tested it before.
Therefor - it might be possible that wle have some conflict with ginput.

Yes, GTA San Andreas\cleo\cleo_text\WLE_Cheat_Table.fxt

Very odd. Lets make some tests:
- Is the country sheriff present in all police cars?
- Do police helicopters have pilots with skins of cop bikers?
- Is the cop biker present on police roadblocks?

 

If any of these is true - that means the code is functional but it's not reading the data from the xml file.
Also do you have some cleo mods?

 

EDIT: And I use gta sa 1.0 us hoodlum.

And use "MaxStarsLimit" option for testing. It should change the number of stars on hud instantly.

That's the problem.
Your gta sa is "1.0 eu".
It should be 14,383,616 bytes which is "1.0 US Hoodlum".

Have you tried to activate the current menu status (number 7 on the left side of the keyboard)?

Those are default keys for the mod.
You can alter them within the xml file (under <keys>). You need key numbers.

Don't forget to save changes.

Yes I did and nothing, however I've noticed that when I press and hold 7 the game lags, but no stats are showing. Not a big deal because tweaking things in xml file is working, anyways thanks for support!

Ok I just downloaded lastest version and now key 7 for "current stats" works! but still nothing for keys 3 and ~

Jack, can you upload xml without any changes? only default vanilla behavior (no cops with assault rifles, changed models, money counter etc)

It reads the xml data while the key is pressed - that's normal.

Press both keys simultaneously. If it doesn't help - alter them within the xml.

Cops with assault riffles was an error which has just been fixed so download again - all of the other default settings are inside the default folder of the mod - so extract the mod from there.

What do you mean by money counter?

jack can you make the mod work with cops in car fire, and can you make the cops on the roadblocks not act like gangbangers.. cops on roadblock don't behaviour like normal cops with this mod.. and the siren doesn't work
