how to turn normal siren lights in mvl cars, 

red light on passenger seats inside, like in Cheetah.

Howdy Jack, nice to see you back.


I really wanted to help you with the new 2.8.4.8s, unfortunately I don't have time to test. 


One thing I noticed about the older version (2.4.8.6s) is that it crashes if there is no MVL at all. If only there was some other way to add extra weapons and vehicles (like in SA with the "Handling Adder" and "Audio Loader"), you could have taken out the MVL compability, which is prone to cause issues.

Hello, after installing this mod I can't start the menu. Only this pop up shows up every time. "The mod menu is disabled!". Why?

Use MVL for em lights since wle uses FBI blue light for all new police vehicles. 
Also disable wle em lights so MVL can install its own without any distraction:

<enable_new_em_lghts>false</enable_new_em_lghts>

Safety precautions. Some players reported the menu causes problems so I made it work under specific conditions:
- no mission in progress (including the 1st one - when you start the new game),
- xml set to enable the menu:

<disable_mod_menu>false</disable_mod_menu>

It seems VehCamHeightOffset in mixsets doesn't work anymore after installing this mod

It works fine here (with both mods included - mix sets and wl editor).
And it doesn't make any sense either - wl editor does not touch the camera stuff.

Hello Bruh Hope you're Doing Well, Cool Mod Bruh It's One of My Favorites.

but I found some bugs bruh: ( I'm Using Version 2.19.8.9 With no other Mods Except Essentials Pack)( I Only Edit The Zone Settings and Not the General Settings)

 

1. If a Vehicle is on Fire (About to Explode) And a Turret-Ped is near that vehicle, the turret-Ped Will Try to Run Away From that Vehicle (But It Can't) and Thus Making it Stop Working as a Turret & Stand Still and Do Noting (Not Shot at the Player Like it's Supposed to) Forever.

 

2. IDK Why But When I Use Open Limit Adjuster (When I Don't Use OLA This Doesn't Happen), Sometimes, The Ped-Model For Some Random Ped-Models That I CHOSE, Changes to The Police Ped-Model of the Zone that I'm in. And The Weapon of The Ped I Also Chose Changes to Pistol. (Basically My Custom Ped turns Into A Normal Cop NPC)

 

3. I Have no Idea Why This Happens But Almost Every Time I Change The Weapon of a Ped From a Default Weapon to another Weapon, Not Only THAT Ped Doesn't Work But All The Other Peds in the SAME vehicle Don't Work Neither. They Get Out Of the Car In Front of Me and Then Just roam Around & Don't Shoot Me and Act Like I Have No Stars (But I do).

3.5 . If I Choose The Cargobob As the Main Heli For Star 7 And Change The Peds Inside It To ARMY Peds, The SWAT Team Which Rope Down From The Heli Don't Attack Me.

 

4. On Star Zero, Roaming Cops Have Weapons In Their Hands.

 

5. On Star Zero, Cops Drive Normal Cars If That Car Is Used In The Level editor.

1. That's actually a game bug but good point - it needs to be fixed.
2. I've never used OLA before. Only FLA. So it will probably take some time until I realise what's up.

The other problems need to be checked in game and it's night time on this part of the world. I'll start testing and fixing tomorow.

Delete the xml text from your post for now since I saved your settings to my text file. We don't want to test the admins wrath.

2. I have no idea. Maybe if you could just explain how exactly did you add a ped to the game?
Wle only turns a normal ped into a cop if its model is present in the wle xml file no matter which section it belongs. 
Basicly it changes its pedtype and the game does the rest (including weapons). Note: OLA and wle do not cross their hooks so they should get along I think.

3. I noticed you have the same vehicle model defined at a single star so it's hard to notice which one of them is which. Maybe that's the problem.
3.5 Cops wandering around is a game "glitch" - it's mostly noticable at the highest wanted star when you have too many cops attacking the player. 
Solution: either decrease the number of foot cops or increase the task limits.

4. Corrected - awaiting upload.

5. Yes - traffic cop cars. Sort of a problem. Most of the default game cars are present in the traffic so when you turn them in the cop car they still appear as traffic only with cops inside instead of civilians. 

Soluton: edit the car settings in the vehicle.ide file. Copy some cop car stuff into the car you want to be cop car.

It's a little bit off topic but I could show you how to do it.
How much do you know about scm? Have you ever successfully build up a cleo code? Do you have the sanny builder?
There's an opcode which could change gang skins for Vice City:

Because the original army gang has some serious limits so it's not used by the game at all. And I won't reply off topic questions no more 'cause it's against the rules.

@Caps king The menu was made for San Andreas only. There's no menu for III or VC unfortunately. You will have to make changes within the mod xml file itself. Use ped and vehicle IDs from the default.ide file located in the data folder of the gta3 directory or search for the gta3 model ids on the internet.

Suggestion for WLE San Andreas, it would be nice if zones could be made for Red County, Flint County, Bone County, Whetstone and Tierra Robada seperately aka RED, FLINTC, BONE, WHET and ROBAD. There is another unused sheriffs deputy, CDEPUT, which I'd love to see spawn in Flint County and Whetstone but that's not possible as of now. Csher would remain in Red County while Dsher would patrol Bone County and Tierra Robada

@Yorpie there's too much work to make extra zones. Maybe I'll make some wle addon in the future - I can't promise anything. However I think I saw some mod out there for the CDEPT and DSHER models.

@Brezagaz 12 stars wasn't enough? What do you trying to do - start a nuclear war??? Anyway currently the mod has a limit of 12 stars only. I guess I could remove the limit so all stars above 12 should use settings from the 12th star or make an option so the user can write his own xml file for the future stars.

That's faq and a common mod issue. Due to a diferent vehicle collisions - EM lights have to be defined for every added (or existed non police) vehicle model. I've never solved it unfortunately so I just left the FBI blue light instead since in most model cases it fits the collision simply because it's a single flash light unlike the other already defined EM lights.

Probably because you got 6 stars when you entered some new areas at the begining of the game - that would explain tanks and a helicopter. By default it should flash 4 stars with the standard policce cars but this mod changes it to 6 or above (it was not my intention though so I'll correct it).

Hello Jack, I tried your Wanted Level Editor for GTA San Andreas, it's one of the best mods I have ever tried, you really have put in a lot of effort to make this work, I only had a couple issues when I tried it, 

 

- Police Boats do not seem to directly chase me a lot of times when I have 7 or more stars, they only do if I have already been in the water when they spawn

- Police Helicopters/Hunter Helicopters do not respawn when they sink into the water

 

Is there a way I can fix this problem such as disabling Pilots or other mods that may help?

I would have to modify the code for that but it's not a big deal. Thanks for reporting it.

Alright no problem, The version I am using right now is version 2.04 with some files that came with it:

 

- SetTurretOffset, Star7, Wanted Level Editor CS file and configuration, and WLE_ Cheat_Table CS and FXT, all from 6/19/2018, would you recommend me to continue this version?

Absolutely not. That's an ancient mod version probably downloaded from gtagarage at which we don't have access since ages due to forum updates.

 

There has been tremendous amount of mod updates since then. Use the latest wle - 2.19.9.0 and remove star7, WLE_ Cheat_Table CS and FXT.

 

And if you want star7 - create it with the wle.

I installed the newest version, most of the things went smoothly, unfortunately I came across more issues, my wanted level is capped at 6 stars when I set the max wanted level at 7 stars, I can only get it when I commit crimes, and Hunter Helicopters behave exactly like Police Helicopters such as using their mounted gun, is there anywhere in the files I need to look at?

Cheat codes are corrected so now you can activate 7 stars immediately. For the rest - I haven't checked in the game. It's odd since I made the hunter and cargobob models to shoot rockets. As for the boat pursuit error - it might be possible that it's not present in newest mod versions.
