Just Cause 3 is actually a pretty good example of what I'm talking about.

Yes, Just Cause 3 does have excellent helicopter controls. but they're also ridiculously unrealistic. There's no turbulence at all and there's no drop in altitude when leaning forward. It's very arcadey, but it is enjoyable. Strafing an oil rig with a helicopter in order to liberate it is massive fun.

I personally don't want that in GTA though. We can't cherry pick our favourite things out of games and then merge them into one game. It is the way it is so I say just get better at it, rather than want it to be easier :)

I mean more about the aiming system, rather than the overall flying mechanics.

Aiming via moving the camera just seems very natural to me, and it seems strange that GTA V has its current clunky set up rather than one that works well in so many other games.

"It is the way it is so I say just get better at it, rather than want it to be easier"

Say that to all the tank drivers who had their tanks ruined by whining. The game changes over time.

Besides, I'm not promoting it so much for it to be easier - it just seems like a completely logical system for aiming. i.e. You aim, by actually aiming.

I don't see why helicopters can't do this - we're already metaphorically blindfolded and gagged by pathetic range weapons, terrible armour, etc.

@Icantthinkofonew I've enjoyed your TUTs and have helped me in game, appreciate it. Thought I'd let you know. Been tearing sh*t up with the savage for a while now.

It doesn't matter that you don't see why they don't do this, because they don't and that is the way it is. You're wasting time and energy complaining about a LOT of things, when the game is meant to be fun. I can tell for a fact that you don't come from the era where computer games were new, and you got something on a tape that took 5 minutes to load, and you were in awe of the blocky, basic colours flying across your screen because it was awesome, just the way it was. Sure, if you'd have made it yourself then you may have done something different, but that was also an era where people took that fact and ran with it, which is where the majority of today's gaming houses come from - people who did something that they wanted.

Today, on the other hand, is completely the opposite. People, like you, just complain about games not doing it they way they want it to be done. You don't understand how needy and self-entitled you are because you've grown up with it all around you. Plus, you have the internet, where you can go and vent about how bad these games are, and how they should be something different. In short, you don't know when you've got it good and you're self-centred.

So yes, get good at the game the way it is. That is a far, far better use of your energy than whining about every single little thing that you're crap at.

Incidentally, this isn't a conversation. That's my closing statement. You're a spoilt kid, like most of your generation, and you have literally no idea how good you've got it. I'm putting you on ignore from now on because you do nothing but irritate me, which will probably please you. Another foul trait of a needy generation.

Urgh wall of text. I'll break it down.

Paragraph 1: Highly irrelevant. If you must know, I started really getting into gaming around the PS1 era. Though I did mess about with a little Atari thing as a kid.

Paragraph 2: You don't know me, or the era I'm from. Once again, irrelevant.

Paragraph 3: You don't know me, so don't know how good I am at the game. Once again, irrelevant. (For your information, I can play just fine, check out my guides).

Paragraph 4: Thank God for that. Now I won't have to bother with your incessant b*tching and derailing my topics.

As for me being spoilt, once again, you don't know me. At any rate, I have enough discipline to compose myself and communicate in a civil manner. You, on the other hand, attack people and throw insults like an overgrown man - child having a tantrum. Basically, you're in no position to speak.

I think it would be really cool to own your own truck. And with that you could have special paintjobs/liveries to apply on the truck

And Trucking missions of course. The map is big enough to do this, and has a plenty of options for unload points. But this dream is too far: R* prohibited any modification like creating a server for your own online mode (as some guys were doing), and they simply ban you, your team and, as it is not enough, shut down any website or download links. "Thinking what? You won't take our profit."

I was playing this other game, and it made me think of this. With GTA Online most likely still being supported in 2017, I thought I'd have a go at posting something for GTA Online in 2017.

Los Santos 2017

Plot: The year 2017 has arrived. A heard of f*cking ugly Chradders. are rushing in from Las Venturas. Vomit rate skyrockeded! Los Santos is ruined! Therefore, The Los Santos government called Trevor Phillips's relative [your GTA Online character's name] for the massacre of the Chradders. [your GTA Online character's name] is a killer machine. Wipe out all 1.2 billion of the chrome Adders! However, in Liberty City, there was a secret project in progress! A project to transform the deceased Nicho Bellock into an ultimate weapon!

Gameplay: You speak to the mayor of Los Santos to begin. You will be given explosive weapons with unlimited ammo, and must shoot the Chradders. Eventually, Enus Seraphs (see below for more details) will appear and try to run you over. They cannot be destroyed, so be sure to dodge them. Once three Seraphs have passed, Nicho Bellock will appear as a giant floating head. Shoot Nicho with rockets to defeat him.

New Vehicles: You will unlock the Enus Seraph after defeating Nicho Bellock. It will be available in Legendary Motorsport for $500,000. It is basically a LWB version of the Super Diamond.

And that my friends, is Los Santos 2017. What do you think of this idea?

I think chradders are a little more tolerable than your cars giantsgiants. Not by much, just a little.

Or this.

Honestly, this would be a pretty cool, if overall worthless, Adversary Mode.

Open more bank accounts! So you save money for special things like a car or you just have one for saving to the next dlc.

Jerking For Soup

So R* decided to add an animation for your character throwing a can on the ground, littering the streets, but not to throw the can Into a recycling bin?

I'm pretty sure in most of the ads and commercials, they reference global warming. So, our characters are destroying the environment.

Recycling DLC confirmed?

This is the exact same email I sent to [email protected] so I just copy pasted it here to gain more attention and thoughts.

"Hello Rockstar!

First, I would like to thank you for all the free dlc we've been receiving until now. These dlc's are the fruit of our voices, your players, and we are really grateful that a big-time developer like you guys will listen to their player's even the for most ridiculous request.

This past few weeks, you hosted different double rp and double money opportunities. I don't really know what's under the sleeves and I am not in the position to say things before you but I know you guys are up to something big and most wanted and my wildest guess for that is Real Full-Size Mansions DLC. My idea for this mansions dlc is like this:

  • There are a bunch of great full-size mansions in the Richman area and also in the Vinewood Hills.
  • The way the mansions will be accessible in online is very similar to single player where we can get out of the house and can access swimming pools and access our garage without cutting the animations.
  • The barriers for the entire mansion will be the gates and fences around it. So once the player stand on the blue blip in front of the gates, he will be isolated from the rest of the players in the session, much like our current apartments.
  • Once the player is on the blue blip, a short animation of the car or the person entering the gates of the mansion will trigger, much like how our garages works. While other players will see him as fading in front of the gates just like how it is now.
  • Once inside the gates, the player has the access to both the indoor and the outdoor (still inside the gate barriers) of the mansion. So it will be like how Michael and Franklin utilize their house in singleplayer, but in this case our barrier will be the gates and fences.
  • Players can have access to swimming pools, barbecue stoves, and also the garage without cut animations.
  • The slots where players can put their cars will still be put in effect but instead of having all the cars inside the garage, there are also some specific slots outside the garage where we can place our cars, it will be shown with a small green blip on the ground between two guide lines. And there will be no cut animations, like what we have in our garage now, upon opening the garage doors much like how Michael in single player can open the garage.
  • Players can drive their cars on the drive way in their mansion. Players can ONLY get out of their car if they parked on the right spot in the right position (an indication on the top left screen will say "press Y/Triangle/ [PC button] to get out"). Cars can be parked front facing or rear facing. The small green blip will be in the middle of two guided lines for easy parking. If you happen to hit another of your vehicle while parking that vehicle will get no damage and will not be moved in position of any sort.
  • We also have access to the garage from inside the mansion (if applicable) just like how Michael does it in singleplayer.
  • Introduction of pool tables and darts inside the mansion is now accessible and we have the ability to invite players from the same session in our mansion and play pool and darts with us.
  • The interactions with the objects indoors is similar to what it is now.
  • Player can walk in and out of the masion (still inside the gate and fence barriers) with no cut scene animations or whatever just how Michael and Franklin does it in single player.
  • When inside the gates of the mansion, other players in the session can see you in the map with a "roof icon" just like how it is currently. But players can still get inside the mansion gates via climbing on it or climbing through the fences, however they will not be able to see players, who purchased the mansions, in their mansions nor their cars. Its pretty much gonna be just an empty mansion for them. So when somebody sky dived inside the mansion, it will be just empty mansion as well.
  • Players who purchased the mansion, can still climb through the walls and gates and end with and empty mansion. The only access inside their purchased mansion, cars, and stuffs is the blue blip infront of the gates.
  • Players inside their purchased mansion can still HEAR what is going on outside the gates and fences barriers just like how it is currently wherein we can hear the explosions and gunshots by other players in the session. Plus players inside their purchased mansion can also hear the noises from the streets.
  • Players cannot store pegasus vehicles inside the mansion.
  • Other players can still buzz in to someone who purchased the mansion.
I don't know if you guys are already working on something similar to this or not, or if it is difficult to implement but I hope you guys will hear me out and also the voices of other players in regards to mansions. I am really looking forward to this full size mansions dlc and hope you consider some of my requests.

Again, thank you so much Rockstar and I can't wait what is under the sleeves for the future additions in GTA Online.

- Hunter attack chopper (no, not the Savage, the 3D Universe Hunter)

- More actors in Director Mode (it sucks we can only use one, can't we setup a scene with like 4 other actors?)

- Chainsaw

- APC from TBOGT

Gonna take a bat to the dead horse's knees for bit and ask for more heists akin to Pac Standard and more missions akin to the Los Santos Connections. I just have a thing for long, multistage missions because they feel like actual...missions. I'd also like to see some more accessible interiors(probably unlikely to happen). I just finished playing GTA: San Andreas a few days, and the fact that you can enter places like fast food restaurants, convenient stores, and shops still puts a smile on my face. I'm not gonna get all preachy about how it made the world more immersive or whatever, but I like how it was just a nice nuanced detail that made the world just a tiny bit more believable -nostalgia trip over-.

I would like to see a Drag Race DLC.

Have a few races in LSIA or in the LS River, you could take a muscel car to the new shop called "Chris's Drag Shop" and put on some drag tiers and a really big blower. And then go to a big race meet and race your friends. The first to the finish line get's the money that you and your friends have bet.
