Feel like there's just so much more they could do with Bully on current gen consoles, and we don't get a lot of Video Games based around this setting. Jason Posted May 31, 2019 Share Posted May 31, 2019 Release a game at the end of the generation and you can put all you've learned about the hardware into it, release a game at the start of a generation and you probably won't be taking advantage of the hardware 100%. There's no right or wrong which is why the idea that GTA VI releasing at the end of the gen isn't necessarily a bad thing. Also I think there's a reason why we don't see many games set in schools and it's because people aren't fond of playing as children/teenagers. One of the many reasons to why I think Bully 2 has been shelved and unshelved multiple times and why I don't expect it'll be out anytime soon. They never used to be in the Rockstar circles but started during RDR2 pre-release, the Rockstar Intel section were actually alright early on but became very clickbaity around release and since. There's multiple times now that they've got the whiff of something that's a potential leak and going full throttle with the tweets, articles "BREAKING" and "EXCLUSIVE" sh*te, only for it not to be a leak at all. They just called Polygon assholes in a tweet about it. Maybe they should stop using their influence to whip fans into frenzies based on false info? The only idiots here are R* Intel. B7R Posted July 28, 2019 Share Posted July 28, 2019 Going off the title of the Polygon article, as much as I'm sceptical I probably would've believed it just a tiny bit if the Polygon leak was focusing on something other than a release date for an unannounced (yet to be announced) game. Not sure how announcing a release date for a game that hasn't been officially announced makes any logical sense to be honest. I'm all for Bully II being the next Game Rockstar hopefully announces and releases but I've very much wised up over the last couple of years and am a lot more sceptical when it comes to leaks and rumours about media and games.
