Jason Posted February 1, 2019 Share Posted February 1, 2019 I honestly find it kinda crazy how popular these Bully 2 leaks have been getting seeing as there's nothing credible to base it on other than the word of Yan who has "retired" from leaking Rockstar stuff. The casting call "leak" that came up a few months ago was built on the fact that a Rockstar developer retweeted the call, which Rockstar Intel spun into it of course being about Bully 2 and not just yer general game dev retweeting about work in the industry. We have evidence that they've attempted to make a Bully 2 in the past, at least twice as well from what I've heard, but there's really nothing to suggest they're working on it now. Yet, anyway. Make the protagonist from Liberty City whose parents sent him to Bullworth to get away from all the crime. Hard to do since there are no kids in Liberty City but they could make it work. According to this Reddit user, the image was removed from the portfolio after a Rockstar employee was contacted about the fake leak. Maybe it was real? This is what I still think they should have done with Red Dead, have a connection to GTA and imply that it's at least in the same universe. Considering the 3D era featured the GTAs released in that period plus the Manhunt series and Bully all in the same universe as each other, I see no reason why they shouldn't continue with having a shared universe for their games. The games don't even have to tie into each other as prequels or sequels to each other, but stuff like characters mentioning Liberty City would still be cool. I remember the leaks a few weeks ago and Swegta looking up those images, so I googled his username "chienquiaboie" for the hell of it and a bunch of french pages came up as "chien qui aboie". Google translate says it means "Dog Barking". Idk. French? Toronto? Canada? the Canis Canem thing(Dog eat dog)? I don't think it really means anything, I just thought it was interesting. I hope Bully 2 is in the works, though, and that R* doesn't plan to keep waiting 5 years between each release. Not to mention that I bet R* legal aren't aware of everything their employees are doing/posting, so he'd probably rather not have questions raining down his neck after the Internet explodes saying X employee has footage of a future game, regardless of the legitimacy of the image.
