I thought the game was about stealing cars, selling drugs, spreading gang violence around Los Santos, WTF is this crap??? Seriously it looks like the game is starting to focus on a under age raging kiddies with no taste. And the fact the the bike is as expensive as a high end super car...hopefully next update is focused on players over 18 years old with new heists, or jobs, or more complex car jacking missions since the f.....ing game is called +18 GRAND THEFT AUTO.

yeah i know that, but same homage goes to the hoonigan and it doesn't even drift when in actual life its a 800hp violent car ¨that wants to kill you¨. Im just saying iv been playing since gta 3 and the theme was always controversial, the game even received several complaints for its violence...Claude, Tommy Vercety, Niko Bellic and now Trevor with his friends which also is violent. But this online thing is from previous form your gang and fight others to gain respect, heists and gang banging with Lamar to stunt races and Tron bikes...each new vehicle also getting more and more expensive...Don't know feels childish for me or maybe im growing up.

There's way too much complaining these days... It reminds me of that time when the Donk got released. Lots of folks flaming Rockstar for releasing such a sh*tty vehicle,... ... I'm no fan of that Donk culture, but I bought one anyway and I still have it and enjoy it from time to time... It's a fun vehicle, it's nice to throw it into the mix now and then. Driving the same old car day in day out, is just boring. These vehicles add some salt to the mixture, although they're not everyone's cup of tea...

Exactly, people hate the Donk because it's anti-good taste and contrary to their character style. That's how I feel about the Shotaro - it's a fun yet nerdish vehicle.

 

I have 136 vehicles in my collection - one free slot on my main character, and three free slots on my second character (just in case), but I do not own a DONK, and never have, but I do own the Willard Faction custom. That's my style - lowrider is as far as I go, but not Donki-nerdiness.

 

If you like the Shotaro and can afford it then buy it and play around with it for a few days - that's what I'll probably do, but cool it ain't.

Disappointed. It's not a new addition to GTA online, it's another Luxor Deluxe red herring for 12-y-olds that looks lovely next to your Willard Faction Donk and luminous green Canis Kalahari.

The new Deadline mode is fantastic. Some of the Adversary modes in previous updates were not really much different from deathmatches. Deadline is a completely new and unique game mode. It's a deathmatch where you don't shoot people. And kudos to Rockstar for making this DLC and all the other DLC free.

I dunno why people hate this. Out of all Adversary Modes, how can this not bring the Tron hype in it? I mean, playing Deadline means the Shotaro is unlocked for purchase. Plus, I find it better than getting constantly shot and exploded with rockets. I find this a favorite after ignoring lots of unwanted Adversary Modes added to it.

no it's not. other than pace around the track, it has nothing in common with hakuchou drag. while you're at it, you can say that t20 is an adder with a working wing.

Maybe someone tells it but if you press B (circle?) on your pad, you can change the camera to get on skyview. Like an old gta and tron style. Not really usefull to win but cool anyway.

 

This Deadline pays so well if you have some skill. I already made 1M300k$ with it. Love it!

4 rounds of deadline was enough, Most likely never play it again. .Bike was okay and fun for about 5 minutes. Ill most likely sell it tomorrow. Shame I haven't enjoyed this as much as everyone else has.

Man that bike is so sick! I had to buy two. If you do primary color white it looks awsome. The new adversary mode is pretty hard(you can change to birdsview) witch helps Alot. Keep up the good work rockstar.

Could have sworn he was the same one who said he understood why the Shotaro was priced so high but couldn't justify the Sanctus. And now it's the other way around lol. Might have been another poster who said this btw I can't remember correctly but it's funny nonetheless.

 

Glad you're listening to what I say, and sowing a seed of doubt in people's minds before they purchase the Shotaro is what I'm trying to do.

 

I can afford ten Shotaro's + upgrades + suits on both characters, so that's not an issue, but still didn't log in and buy it last night. The issue is boredom, and like most of us, I've been playing GTA online since October 2013 and therefore want to try out everything the game has to offer, but I've got to the point where I can no longer jump when Rockstar says 'hey, here's a bike at twice the price with cool tron lines'. Just like the Sanctus before it, there's very little that can justify the price tag over its counterpart, the Avarus. I wish there was.

 

If I come across as a person who tells people not to buy it because of the ridiculous price, but then buys it anyway, apologies for that, but that's because money isn't an issue for me and I can afford it. Not because I think it's worth the money.

 

Please don't buy this bike just because you feel you have to, because you're being pressurised into it by everyone else. Use your head. If you really, really want it... then nothing can stop you, go for it... but don't think this is the next life-changing biker experience. It isn't, and you'll get bored in a few days.

 

I think Deadline adversary mode looks pretty fun though, so once I can decide whether to replace my Hakuchou Drag or buy the Shotaro as well, I'll be onto it... just to test it out.

The mode is quite fun, it's awesome to get a 3D true torn mode

This makes the MC business somewhat more worth the time spent. A roughly 20 minute Trashmaster run from Alamo Sea to Los Santos - 315k.

 

Factoring in that it'll probably take at least 30 minutes to get the supplies necessary... yeah, it's probably not quite as profitable as running heists. But, you can do this alone in an one-man public session. When your heist friends aren't online, or maybe they've started a run without you. You don't need to log off after realizing that today is no heist day and earn 0$.

 

Admittedly, the setup cost is still pretty damn big. By the time this bonus started, I'd already made back 2 million out of the ~2.8 million it cost me to buy and fully upgrade the Coke lockup. (excluding the staff/utility bill costs here, as well as any ammo/vehicle insurance costs.). This is with one failed sale, because I went for a 3 Post OP van sale solo not knowing what I was doing. Quit after delivering two vans, so I lost some product there.

Hey there, I just wanted to let you know that if you don't want it to glow, put the secondary color to Chrome. That's the only color that doesn't light up. Even black lights up a little bit (looks light gray)

Just played deadline. Going close to another player's trail doesn't make you faster and the trail is way too short. Pretty much the whole mode is just catching people off guard or running down the clock.
