Unless the host sets it to crazy long rounds, you can get through it quickly and be ordering your $2,225,000 bike faster than you can say "what button activates the bunny hop?"

 

You might actually see that it can be fun.

 

To answer your question: I didn't get the unlock notification until after we completed the first round. While I didn't get a notification for unlocking the outfits, they were unlocked by the time my bike was delivered

I actually caved and joined one of the random invites to "Deadline I" earlier on. It's a really fun adversary mode in all seriousness, and set to two rounds meant that it was over in about 15-minutes. In the end I received about $60K and obviously unlocked the bike / suits.

Better to have some fun and earn some cash than rage at most of the other game modes currently available.
