is the hydra worth buying or not

i've been thinking about buying the hydra is it worth it or not, i've been grinding random heists and jobs and i'm up to 2.5 million.

is the hydra better then the savage or is it as bad?

Kind of a steep learning curve to it but while you're learning it is absolutely the funnest thing you can buy in the game. Buzzard is more useful for making money but the Hydra is a balls out fun fest.

 

Spawn it, take off, and watch all the little colored dots on the map start panicking.

I love the Hydra so for me it was a great investment but some of my friends don't like flying the jets so theirs are just gathering dust in the Pegasus warehouse. Guess it depends on what kind of player you are is what I'm trying to say basically.

 

It's good fun in freemode and can make short work of contact missions or CEO/VIP work and while the same could be said for the Savage and Buzzard the Hydra is quicker, can dodge homing missiles easier and in the right hands is nigh-unstoppable in combat.

 

...Plus nothing beats that feeling of flying it when Highway to the Dangerzone comes on the radio hahaha.

Lazer is much better than the Hydra but too bad we can't buy one, only steal it from the army base.

It's great for basic transportation too. I wanted to go from my clubhouse in Blaine County to the time trial at the airport the other day (while a war was going on in Los Santos) and just flew my hydra there in no time. I forgot to go to passive mode and dots were running from me clearing a path lol.

Definitely absolutely undeniably GET this vehicle.

 

It's perhaps the best fun you can have in the game and the vertical take off and landing capability makes this a next to unrivaled beast for all manner of things, both offensive and defensive.

 

God, even just talking about it makes me want to leave work, head home and fire it up, and go round as some kind of Top Gun tribute.

i've finally bought a hydra and made a bounty kill with it but since i haven't flown a hydra in while i've forgotten which button to hit to go from takeoff and landing to flight mode.

i'm on 360.
