Seriously my new favorite thing to do in GTA. Such an excellent game mode in every way. Interesting that you can't actually stop the bike unless you push yourself against something, which in turn kills you for stopping.

Alright having played two rounds, it might actually be my favorite adversary mode now.

Anyone else played with the top down view yet? It's the "B" / "O" button. I've tried it out. It's actually really good for getting people into your line from behind.

For some reason, I can't join any playlist whatsoever on the loading screen or via phone, I have to play via pause menu and choose a singular mission to play it.

 

Anybody else have this issue?

it s fun ...

played it 3 times : my first time was bad of course : i was discovering the game , but then I lost my 2nd match because of time running out (and the winner had just 1 life more than me ) , it sucked because of the money .... then managed to win my 3rd match and to unlock the shotaro ...

but still, i m not bying it , didn t like it (the brakes , and even the handling , it s ok ,but not worth $2,5 M )... it would surely get better with the upgrades ... but nah I m not bying it

the Top down perspective is good on some maps , but the regular perspective is better on others ( especially those with the ramp surrounding the map , I think it s Deadline 2 maybe ??? ).....

A fun addition, no doubt. Keeping track of other lines gets difficult and when it's down to you and another player, you've either got to bank on them getting cut off or pursue them with a boost handy so you can zip across, Tron style. Much better than that bloody Angels Vs. Devils tripe anyway.

My main issue at the moment is even finding players, or at least keeping them in the lobby. Invites go out but usually I'm either left with only one other person or I'm kicked because the host quit.

The short playthrough of it that I had (since my plan double-backfired, 6 lives so I didn't want to kill myself 6 times to spectate and Windows Firewall took its sweet time to kill off player connectivity - making me end up needlessly committing suicide 3 times in the end) was fun. Can't wait to properly play it one day.

I had fun with this mode.

I won the first round no I ever played, which was good. Lost a few and won some. If not for the 2x money I don't know if it's worth it. Some maps are better than others.

 

I do wish you couldn't die from reversing over your own trail.

There is a third dimension aspect (going over and under trails) so there's a little more to think about than snakes.
