Love it! Just won one. It pays double and I got 16k for a 5 minute round. You have to avoid other people's tracks in it. Not very hard, but can be tricky with experienced players. Reminds me a bit of that browser game "slither".

It's the best adversary mode.

Not saying much, but it is actually fun.

Edit: also I can confirm you only need to play Deadline to unlock the Shotaro, I lost both rounds but I unlocked it.

Watching that video back, I see it says press right on the d pad to switch filters, I need to go play again to see that, I ended up leaving because the host set every setting to very long so the game was taking ages.

Just watched your video. It looks pretty fun. One of my friends loves playing DCTL so this will be a favorite of his. I'll probably try it out later. I'm not too impressed with the Shotaro though if I'm being honest. Like there's no way I'd drop 2.2 mil on it. Mabye if it were 1 mil I'd consider it but I just don't think it's that worth it.

I think they should just get rid of all the unpopular adv modes and have the adv mode section made up of the ones people like, since there are so many jobs, it's way too rare to have full lobbies in great modes.

I think they could add up to 6 players, but it's fun anyway.
I liked the arena concept, R*could easily add some new Sumo maps like 'Destruction Derby' from MTA. Just an idea.

Mode is awesome and it pays out well,i got like 48k.My Tactic is simple stay away from another players let them kill each another after they chase me just start go up and down creating circle so eitherway they have to hit line lol XD.

Holy sh*t, this gamemode is awesome and not competitively broken, I'd definitely place this higher than Power Play and right next to Slasher.

It seems a bit of a "biggest pussy wins" gamemode. Which is great for me, since I'm a huge pussy.

It's pretty fun. Got absolutely destroyed though. mostly due to me riding through my own stream. Unlocked the Shotaro though, so s'all good.

It was a fun mode to do but I lost two rounds. I had a lot of fun and will be doing a lot of these this week.

Just done three rounds, came out with $170k each one set to 10 lives 10 minutes and 2 to win.

 

Lots of fun, requires focus and strategy, quick respawns. Shame it'll die when the payout isn't x2

I've yet to try this, but hopefully it's something I'd wanna play just for fun and not for the money. I guess it's more of a proven concept than most adversary modes.

 

Also I don't get all the love for Slasher. That mode almost always just ended with someone smacking the slasher to death right at the start with their flashlight. Well at least if you played on free aim. Auto-aim on the other hand made it too easy for the slasher imo. You couldn't really make a run for it if you got spotted.

 

There's a couple modes I haven't played, but my favorite adversary mode is actually offense defense. It's just stupid bumper car fun.

Oh sweet lord, I just won the second version of Deadline Adversary Mode with my main character. It was a very fun match. Only 1 round. 4 players with 6 lives and I only lost 2 lives but came out the winner. God I love this mode.
