I wouldn't mind a few cameo appearances from RDR 1 as well, but some characters obviously wouldn't work if it is a prequel though. Open at your own risk: If Bounty Hunting is a feature in the new game, it would be cool to have a reference to The Good, the Bad and the Ugly where we could capture a bounty with Tuco's name and face. A reference to The Shawshank Redemption, but instead of reading "Brooks was here" it could say "[some character from RDR1] was here". Maybe have a Scorpion revolver (from the first game)? I know they tend to base the guns off real guns now (and I'm not sure if there's a real-world equivalent of that), but it wouldn't be too far-fetched. Seeing as they try to go for a historically accurate depiction of the time, dabbing, purple dildos, and the other sh*t show suggestions from above will not be happening. The Time Ranger Posted November 11, 2016 Share Posted November 11, 2016 In Armadillo in RDR there was a painting behind the bar in the saloon of a woman, in the game GUN, the exact same picture hangs in the saloon in Dodge City. I would like to see easter eggs similar to this, referencing other western games. Maybe a few real people from the old west could make an appearence, Buffalo Bill, Billy the Kid, Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp etc. I realise RDR is in it's own universe but if implemented well it could be a cool addition. I think you have to include the series of books by Laura Ingalls Wilder, as well as the popular TV show, as an obvious contributor to the Western/Frontier genre, and especially so if RDR2 is set in "The Heartland." The glass eye being more like a good luck charm that will increase your chance to find more money or something. It would be an obvious nod to Seth from RDR1.
