Save games just not loading, V1/V2 trouble.

Using steam as a base, which has been reinstalled and downgraded 3 times. I mainly use roberts overhaul finale which has a bunch of stuff (but its been working with this before) and a few cleo scripts like clothes menu.

 

I can start a new game. Save it, then "GTA_Sa has stopped working" when i go to load it. Every save game i download from the internet, V1 saves i guess, loads that first time then the same thing happens if i save/reload.

 

When i put them into GTAsnp it says they are V1, ive tried converting to V2 but same thing, as to be expected anyway if my game is V1.

 

Im going to reinstall...again, and start a new game/save/reload and find which part of the install is causing this - any advice in the meantime? cheers

 

 

Edit: So my issue is CLEO 4. I went through each script and mod individually in the overhaul mod, and the crash happens when its active. Would an older version be suitable?
