Bought everything?

Recommended Posts

I try to collect everything I can. I think I am only missing the High Flyer Parachute, Radio T-Shirts, and Fist T-Shirt. As far as purchasable items go, I own everything.

Although, now that I think of it, I may have a few locked tattoo's as well.

As far as the game being dead once you own everything, I disagree. GTA is still always a lot of fun. As far as how much I play GTA Online, I jump on every once and a while. I usually play SP with mods as there is a LOT more you can do content wise in modded SP. I don't have anyone to play GTA Online with as my friends dislike the grind of it, and they seem to have a difficult time getting Five Reborn to work.

I just finished out my pegasus vehicles a couple days ago. Havnt picked up the game since. Just warning people. When you buy every damn thing. It makes this game very boring

In 2013 a few random people dropped (unrequested) and giant pile of cash on me. I bought everything for one of my characters. That time before Rockstar took it back and the time since then, before I really had to keep earning... I still had fun.

I can see how buying everything, just for the sake of "buying everything" can get boring and unfulfilling.

So if GTA:O had a percentage completion stat it would be based on purchased content?

Wow, I remember GTA's completion stat being filled by missions, stunt jumps and hidden packages.

so your only goal in this game was to waste time making money so you could buy everything you could purchase? If so, that's quite ironic since you could have saved time and money by simply not buying anything, like the game itself.

How do you buy everything? The last time I had a look, there were still a limited amount of space for vehicles and property--even if you were to split it up between two characters. There isn't much point in buying every article of clothing; it just makes getting dressed more complicated if you're doing it from the apartment. On the same note, I can't imagine owning every Pegasus vehicle either--that would be a huge of list to scroll through and there's so much that I would never use regularly.

It isn't my call to tell anyone how to play the game--that is a very subjective matter, but I don't see how owning everything is a goal that most of us even strive to achieve--even if it were possible with both characters. In turn, I don't see the point in just accumulating money and grinding non-stop, but eh, I'd just rather have enough to buy what I want and play the game for the experiences within game modes and with the friends I have made.

The game does not seem dead though--at least not on PS4; matchmaking is still broken though, but there are usually things going on and plenty of people online somewhere.

Ive purchased mostly everything,I do not find it boring, though I have pretty much everything. Still play/farm CEO/Biker Missions and Heists. I just save up again to buy everything that comes with the next update, although we really need that casino to splurge our money on.

The giant Pegasus vehicle list on my main character is why my second character only owns a half dozen Pegasus vehicles that I actually feel I have practical use for.

FrugalDangerMan

Back in the day, when everyone and their uncle was a billionaire due to modders, I found that having so much money made the game less....thrilling. there was no real incentive to win a race or deathmatch and missions were boring. Why bother? What's $8,000 to a billionaire?

It's like winning the lottery. So many people say "oh, I'll keep my job to stay grounded."

BULLSH*T!

You'd quit and take a year long vacation with a bunch of naked supermodel quality escorts in Bora Bora without even batting an eye before going back to the 9-5 Monday- Friday grind.

I like hovering around 5 million. Since both characters own a yacht, 5 mill is enough to buy anything for either of them but not quite enough to just do it on impulse. I have to think about it and maybe even grind a bit to make sure I keep just enough to stay comfortable.

So yes OP. I agree and know where you're coming from.

Ehh ive been playing gta for over a year straight now as my main game. Maybe its just time for a little break for me anyways. Just saying but almost everyone i know that plays gta online wants to buy everything.

I dont really mind having everything tho. I wouldnt change it for anything on my main account. Ill just play another account if i really want to do start over or play on my secondary character and buy things a lot slower

I haven't bought all vehicles because I'm picky and I regret buying the f*cking yacht. I want to buy a bullet because I love the handling, smooth asf but who the f*ck drives a bullet in 2016 LS besides NPCs? -_-

Depends on the player i have everything i want, a serious desired collection do i get bored? Never ive got that many ways of going about my free roam play or missions i love it

Im waiting for new stuff all the time dlc drops for myself is like christmas to a kid :D any cash i earn is tucked away (second character) or chucked away (explosives)

As a gta4 online player for many years its hard to get bored of the never ending deathmatch, against hardened veterans like myself its a game of chess lol

Yes in some cases I have "everything" or at least everything useful and that I want. I play for fun. I still do the same things I did when I only had one super an assault rifle and a handful of stickies. Only now I have 70 vehicles and a list of pegasus vehicles I want (no need for all of them, buses, unarmed aircraft that stuff.)

I still run the same jobs, I still invite others to play and help low levels if they are willing. Occasionally I'll even share my winnings with helpful randoms that join. I still go on rampages. I still participate if freeroam events, almost all of them.

Lately I've been keeping to myself working on my garages, I haven't had much player interactions in awhile. Today I changed it up and took my insurgent for ride. It was a very fun day. Did some vip work, freeroam events, plowing through everything and everyone. Had 1 "problem" player that jumped out of passive for a kill, I got him a few times for a revenge, he went to get a jet, he was bad and (lol) using the missles. All and all it was some of the most fun I've had in awhile, the insurgent is a fun ride and I don't drive it very often. I even sold my full small wearhouse today for something to do.

Edit,

Been playing almost three years now and this is still my game of choice even though I am where I am in game, even though I have other games and nothing else to really work towards in this game I still play because I find enjoyment in helping others or working against them. Whatever happens in game is usally a good time regardless the outcome.

KornbreadMaf1a

I own just about everything in the game and everything I will ever use and to me it makes the game better because it allows me to do whatever I want instead just what pays the most.

It's not any different buying everything GTA is dead for me. Anyone else...

If you hadn't modded/glitched all your money in you'd have some satisfaction from working towards things you want; this would also give you more incentive to use and appreciate the thing you earned. Typical rich kid having all the toys at once, and then breaking and throwing them away because they're "bored". Having said that, I'm glad I don't have to grind crates anymore...but everything I really wanted in this game I worked for, and got a lot of enjoyment out of because of it.
