Help please. I keep crashing when i hit *New Game* And it's because of the gta3.img being a folder. Can you make the gta3.img not a folder?

My efforts are more toward this (Vice City: BETA Edition) & Shine o' Vice right now. I haven't worked on San Andreas: BETA Edition since 2016 - with no interest on reviving it having peaked since.

 

You're better off waiting for San Andreas: Rewind.

I wanted SCM 2 and some optional,but after copying files,the game crashes on loading new game.

Any detailed instructions on installation or video will be helpful.

A road in little havanna near the hospital wasn't present,3 roads in little haiti near phil's place didn't exist,sunshine autos(bj's autos)was square and little different also the grassy area seemed to be extended,a road near the laundromat and the printworks in little havanna/haiti wasn't there in the beta and another small road that connects it with little havanna near the katana rampage and the "ice cream  factory",phil's place/junkyard seemed to be different being a smaller area in the middle and not connected to each other.

None of the roads that are facing the beach existed and there is another road near the construction site bridge that also didn't exist,there were no lighthouse or rocks,the pier where we take cortez's missions had two piers/walkways making one stunt jump impossible/isn't even a jump there,the alleyways that are coloured gray weren't present/or they were there but the map and the radar didn't display them when R* made them,alittle bit more grass on the right near the beach.

The stadium wasn't even planned to be a part of the game,the road from the police station and the fire department is absent,the parking lot in downtown was also different,the beach and the grassy walkway to the stadium northwest of downtown didn't exist so why adding it and replacing the stadium with it in the scm2full pack? also the grass area where we have the dirt track and landstalker challenge looks to be larger extending to the biker club,different alleyway layout.

The road in the airport is missing,two roads in the docks are also missing, maybe it's just me but the ships look bigger.The area where we had that  the warehouse that has the package didn't exist.

And now on to the video analysis(the video is from 2010 so don't expect good editing and credits to it's original creator:

The part that I wanna talk about is from

0:55 to 1:15 it talks about airtrain placment and the lod map.

VCB V4 isn't going to be happening for a fair while yet. I'll probably start around Halloween-Christmas maybe?

 

SAB V3.5 isn't going to happen at all. You're better off waiting for Rewind, which will be a lot better.

Also I want to talk about a glitch (if you choose  to install the full mod contents with the scm 2 pack)about the flamthrower rampage near the stadium,it was obviously moved so it is possible to complete but,if you fail  it will return back to it's original location near the stadium and since there is no stadium,the rampage just floats over the water.

Eh, that beta map. I don't like it. Vice City without bigger beach, stadium and other stuff? I like adding and replacing, but not removing. Vice City is a small city, and it could be even more smaller if you'll delete some parts of the map. MAYBE, you should create another pack, that doesn't contains removed stadium, some parts of the beach and airport. Please? (If you'll do Beta V4). 

EDIT: But mod is great anyway.

That's what the Standard pack is, all the cosmetic changes without any removals (except maybe the washington bridges, I can't remember) for those like you that want it.

 

SCM 2 [Full] is the full pack with the removed stuff.

That sounds strange, I don't know why it'd be re-placed after failure, but I'll look into it when I get around to it!

Also, I think that this map from sunshine autos is ALPHA map. It's incompleted (I don't even see Ocean View hotel, only road, and blank space. No hotels in Ocean Beach?).

In the [not full] scm 2 you packed also new Ken Office location? I like that new Ken Office exterior :D And some changed buildings. Of course cutted Beach (not that close to ocean view hotel, but that with rampage (near market)) looks good anyway. And, if I want to have those Washington Bridges, then please tell me what dff or txd I should not add to GTA3.img or what ipl or dat file I shouldn't replace in maps folder. And:

Buildmesh that is repaired in Leftovers Fix will have some glitches with not repaired meshbuild from your mod? (if you don't understand me, I'll try to explain that in better way). I'm talking about glitched LOD of buildmesh that is never disappearing after Demolition Man mission.

I just love that mod. It have some good and great parts (better buildings, and looking awesome locations). ALPHA* map was something good, but not created in 100% at all.

Because installation is as easy as starting gta-vc.exe (lol). Just download modloader for GTA Vice City and paste folder with this mod into your game directory. Then, download GTA Vice City BETA (maded by Kalvin) and paste it into modloader folder. AND THIS IS IT. I think, that modloader don't work with GTA VC steam version. So, download gta-vc.exe 1.0 from internet. If SOBB finishes his vehicles before whenever V4 is developed/released, his will be included.

 

If not, then his will be linked as an external download instead of/alongside ALMOST's.

I didn't know that actually.I thought he was working on gta sa rewind beta vehicles only not vc cars.

Also is he recreating the ones on the vice city flash website or the ones we saw on trailers and pre-release screenshots?
