Aircraft missile lock turned off?

Did you switch your targeting mode recently? after i switched mine the lock for homing launchers and aircraft missile lock got turned off. I fixed it by turning it back to targeting every player.

Didn't change nothing one minute was locking on then i had to go about it the old school way as soon as i started headhunter again it went back to normal again

Happened to me yesterday on Xbox one while in my savage during headhunter. I couldn't lock onto enemies on foot. Its happened before a long time ago and should be easily fixed.

Can you even lock on to targets in headhunter ?

Yeah there are two in particular that you can't because of coverage depending on coverage but you can definitely lock onto moving targets for headhunter.

I don't really understand what you're saying but it sounds hilarious in my head I lost it at 'fish cards' HAAHAHA What is ui anyways?

 

Oh and I got no trouble locking on for me. I didn't even know it locks on to other players in land vehicles until recently

Just tried killing a low rank with my missile on buzzard but no lock on.. And the weird e-mail bug, had nothing but that all night.

I saw this happen last night as well. Only with Buzzard though. Haven't tried any other jet or the homing launcher. Probably a technical issue. I hope they address a fix for this.

You can lock onto all of them. Some are difficult - there's one east of SS where you almost have to be level with the ground, and there's one near downtown where you have to shoot in between a building - but all of them can be taken out through the air

All targets for Headhunter can be locked on, on foot or in a vehicle and all can be taken from the air, however some are more difficult then others. For players they need to be in a vehicle. For me I've had no problems with the lock-on although I'm unsure about players because I haven't attacked anyone with my hydra in awhile and when I do its with the cannons, the one player I attacked recently was also in a hydra and the missles were locking on just fine but it was my cannons that finished the job. It's usally lock-on to locate target fire the two missles switch to jet mode and dive at the target with the cannons, works almost everytime.

What the hells going on here? Ive just went back into the game and this random (not another player) is firing at me no damage as I'm in passive.

 

Yup--happened to me some months ago, when I spawned back into a session after a job, and was driving into my garage on Alta St. He was just standing there with an assault rifle shooting at me.

 

Apparently a rather rare random event; more so than the NPCs that start shooting at you when you're trying to rob a store.

 

All targets for Headhunter can be locked on, on foot or in a vehicle and all can be taken from the air, however some are more difficult then others.

 

I do suggest using a Buzzard or Savage for them, since if you don't, you may have to headshot them with an AP pistol numerous times before they'll finally die:

 

 

 

I've just activated HH and this seems too have sorted it I can now lock on again. Now then is anyone else getting this message?

 

I believe that message is supposed to be from "LJT" (what happens to me anyway); it's just another spam message from him that you haven't done anything with your MC Clubhouse.
