9i OTD
Horror movie jumpscares having a loud "Dun!" or "Eweeern!" or noise. The sh*tty jumpscares themselves would probably be less than half as scary if that obnoxious loud noise didn't always accompany them. D418
When action movies use ridiculous amounts of shaky cam and jump cuts, so you have no idea what's happening, and now have a headache. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vH-8wmUVb6k Edited January 14, 2017 by D418 DieselFuelOnly
RogerWho
-Guns with infinite ammo Wow double wow and tripple wow Is that a real movie? The infinite ammo is the least of its problems. I used to watch (or try to watch) some of the horrible knockoff movies like Transmorphers and such but I don't think I've seen anything this horrible. Algonquin Assassin
This is related to a specific movie. So I just watched Frozen (not to be confused with the animated one) basically it's about three skiers who get trapped on a ski lift for a few days. Really good movie IMO, but I'm sitting there thinking "why don't any of them have a mobile phone so they can call for help?". Of course there's no way to tell if phone reception was adequate, but if it were a real life situation it would be ludicrous to think that none of them atleast had one phone just in case of an emergency. The first time I saw it and after realising what kind of trouble they were in I thought that was going to be the first thing they did. Try calling for help. These common sense oversights annoy me greatly. iBUCKEYE, Mister Pink and Voodoo
Voodoo
This one actually pisses me off - when a character in an otherwise quality series or film is shown playing a console game like a complete idiot. The worst is when it's obvious that it's a shooter and they are holding the controller all weird and button mashing while jiggling the sticks like a spastic. This sh*t may have passed in the 90s or early 2000s but these days gaming is pretty mainstream. When I see sh*t like that, the character automatically loses any credibility they may have built to that point.
