I'm in the market of buying a "cheap" bike that's a bit faster than the Akuma. Which one do you prefer?

The Defiler has more customization options and is similar to the Akuma, it's for weebs who argue with other weebs on the waifuability of anime girls while posting smug anime faces.

 

The Vortex has less customization but more creative liveries as well as the option to make it resemble an alien UFO, it's for pretentious car "enthusiasts" who say that every car is sh*t except for a very specific model of certain European cars while making offensive memes out of American car owners too busy enjoying their cars to notice the said memes.

 

tl;dr: get a Defiler for customization or a Vortex for liveries.

own 3 defilers and 3 vortices.

 

I enjoy riding the defiler a tiny bit more, but the vortex has some great customization.

 

I suggest checking the appreciation threads and see what look you like best.

Never understood why you guys cared so much about wheelieing until I started stunting and bought a Ruffian. Yeah...I get it now.

It gives you a speed boost so it's important for racing too. Bikes that don't wheelie seem generally faster to make up. E.g. The bati can beat the akuma if you have enough chances to wheelie, but if not the akuma will smoke it. You need both types, and for racing anyway those 2 are still the best along with the new hack drag.

I prefer the Defiler, which is odd as I'm normally Italian over Japanese. I think the Defiler gives you more room to get just the look what you want. I also don't really like the fairing around the headlights options for the Vortex, it does have some nice classical liveries though.

 

Maybe I'll need more time though. Vortex is also a stupid name for a bike.

I voted vortex bcuz factory slicks. Theyre both fine bikes though. Do a solo race with each set to gta style n drive arnd the map a lil. I bought 2 vortex n 1 defiler.

I own all 3; akuma, defiler, and vortex. the akuma is superior in every performing aspect over the other two. if the choice is between defiler or vortex, i much prefer the performance of the defiler over the vortex, and for customization, vortex gets my vote.

Neither of those bikes are quicker than a Akuma I am afraid especially around a track. Both of there performances are very similar to each other and not top tier like the Bati, Akuma and definitely not the Hakachu Drag.

They are both OK bikes to ride and I do own both, but out of the two I would the rate the Vortex as the better bike because of the customization available on it.

But remember that the Tron bike will be coming out very shortly which is more likely to be competitive if not dominant so maybe it would be a idea to wait.
