Set back to 250k RP instead of getting 250k in money?

Damnit. I'd completely and foolishly ignored the part where they said you had to log in during a certain period to be eligible for the cash bonus.

Was playing a little bit almost every day lately and I got my money, but I wanted my brother to get the bonus as well. Ofcourse he doesn't get it then because his account was untouched until yesterday or so.

 

Crud. And he was even considering getting the Aquarius because of the discount but is still a ways off from the money for that. If he doesn't want to buy his first super car out of any of the currently discounted ones.

it happened to me back with the rebates for the T20/Brawler. I was supposed to get the rebate for the brawler and after reporting that I never got it they went in and accidentally reset my RP to the same number of GTA$ I was supposed to get on the Brawler. When I got on and noticed it because my main character went from level 160 something to level 30 something I reported it and it was not only fixed but they gave me the rebate for the T20 instead of the Brawler.

If a custom chopper costs 1.95 million and most of the top-tier supercars passed the 2 million milestone as well as nearing the 3 million barrier, it makes sense that people wouldn't want to miss out on free cash, dude.

if you can afford to spend 2million on a custom bike and close to 3million on a car, not getting 250k shouldnt even bother you...That's the thing, just because we can afford to buy something with a pricetag as crazy as that, it doesn't mean they deserve to cost that much.

Let us take the Roosevelt, it is in the late 800K range with its fancier brother nearing a million, so what about their chopped up hot-rod cousin the Franken Stange? Its price is logical, it costs less than it did in its original state because it lost its supposed value as a luxury limo and is now a custom novelty hotrod.

Let us compare the Avarus with the Sanctus, one is 100K and the other is 2M, the only difference between them is that the Sanctus has too much power in its engine for its frame and suspension to handle and has a skelton fitted on its body. It makes sense if it was 300-500K, but not 1.95 million, that right there is fraud and the economy would crash if it existed in this game.

The Tron bike makes sense for its price, it is futuristic and has a more pronounced gimmick that makes it more memorable, but a chopper with a glowing red skull? No way.

I'm curious what exactly is fraudulent about the price of the Sanctus? Or are you just acting like a fifteen year old girl and being over dramatic?

 

Did R* change the price after you buy it? Did they advertise it at one price then charge you a different price? Do they force you to buy it? Do they tell you that you are buying a jet then give you a motorcycle instead?

 

If anything is fraudulent its your use of the word fraud. You do realize that making outrageous claims that are untrue completely destroy your entire argument. I don't disagree the Sanctus is overpriced but I'm not about to say it gave me AIDS after I bought it which is pretty much the equivalent of you saying its fraud. I paid over two million after upgrading it and I don't feel like I was hoodwinked in any manner because I knew the price going in just like everybody else that either buys it or doesn't.

You do realize the value of something isn't a one size fits all variable because it is different for everybody. Nobody is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to buy a bike in GTA.

 

Honestly having a few items being considered overpriced by some is a smart thing for rockstar to do because it creates a sense of exclusivity for that product and that is a common practice in economics to be honest. They even priced it at $1,995,000 for a very specific reason and that is because consumers are around 20-25% (been a while since economics in college so I don't remember the exact percentage) more likey to purchase the bike with a price of $1.9 million then they are if it was priced at $2 million. This entire franchise has always been a parody of American culture so R* overpricing a few items goes with the entire parody theme.

 

Also funny how you picked that one comment to reply to while completely ignoring the one question posed by my reply to you so I'll ask again to see if I get an answer. What exactly is fraudulent about the price of the Sanctus?

It's literally just an Avarus with a skull on it, you say that this is about the price of exclusivity and whatnot, but if anything passes a million it will always capture the attention of players and give them this weird urge to buy it. I have never seen a single Lurcher or Stange around during the last Halloween, but I'm still seeing the Sanctus on a daily basis even after Halloween finished, the players really do have that much of a shallow taste.

 

All in all, the Avarus is 116K, putting a red-eyed skull on it shouldn't make it 17 times more expensive. It's fraud at its most basic form.

You really have no idea what the word fraud means do you?

 

Yes the bike is overprice but that in no way shape or form does that make it fraudulent. You have a point that adding a skill and a skeleton doesn't merit a seventeen fold price increase and I agree with you but saying they are committing fraud destroys any argument you make.

 

What Bernie Madoff did was fraud what R* is doing is overpricing a virtual item. You obviously need to do some research on what fraud actually means because you don't seem to know.
