Set back to 250k RP instead of getting 250k in money?

Anyone experiencing this? I saw quite a few people were on social club. It seems like Rockstar really messed up with this, instead of giving some players the $250k for logging in for the three anniversary, they set some to having 250k overall RP instead.

That's approximately 7 - 10 ranks for me I think. (currently 624). Haven't heard of others having this issue. All I know is that some haven't recieved their money yet. Probably just another of the 1000000000 bugs :p

Was going to sat 250,000 rp is low, I'm currently on somewhere around 10,700,000rp for level 359

Did you log in as you needed to?

I have, yes. R* didn't recognized it as such and instead of giving me the promised $250k, I got nothing deposited in my in-game account today. At all.

I hope so too. The last thing I want is another lying dev who promises free things but end up getting nothing the next day.

Seriously, how can it be that easy to mistakenly give RP instead of cash when the code for it is so simple that you need to be braindead to not understand it?

 

This isn't the first time it happened either, so logically, Rockstar shouldn't be making these simplistic mistakes repeatedly, but they continue to stun us with a new low every single time.

Be sure you take a screenshot of your current RP level via Social Club before you log into the game, I would hate to have all of my progress reset over a dumb mistake.

 

You need to rub the obvious into Support's face because they'll try to blame everything on you instead of admitting their f*ck-ups.

Never had the chance to. But luckily, PSN saves the image of trophies when you earn them, I was only level 101. So, the level 100 trophy screenshot should help.

I find this dubious to say the least. Two completely different stats - and instead of adding to one they replace the other? I have my doubts.

I have a screenshot of my character leveling up to 100, and is now level 36. Myself and others on the social club forums wouldn't be posting it for nothing.

It's like they're trying to make people stop playing.

 

It's oddly fascinating watching a developer make blunders so bad one would almost think they are trying to make their own , money-making game implode.
