Strange death match question.

I don't do deathmatches normally but it was part of my D.o to do one so I took the first one that flashed up. Some French named thing with loads of $$$$$ signs. There was me and the host only, a level 61 and the arena was based in LS international by the back of LS Customs.

No guns, just crow bars and I eventually realised there were some choppers which could be used to jump a fence to a huge load of tanks, jets etc...

No killing was taking place and the host seemed like they were just hanging about with a gun they had got from the fenced area and were standing out in the open.

 

Their blip then turned into a bounty skull! Unfortunately I had been messing about exploring this strange set up and had bailed from my chopper causing it to blow and I couldn't get near the bounty with my crowbar as they'd shoot me up, so I ran all the way out of LSI towards LSC looking for a way in, found another chopper at LSC but then run out of time.

 

It's killing me not knowing what was contained in that bounty, is this a normal issue that can happen? It all seemed just a bit weird. (XBone)

The skull icon in a deathmatch simply indicates who is the Power Player; their blip is constantly revealed until the honour passes to someone else.

 

Those maps are absolute sh*t though; it's a blatant trolling experience and they are primarily used for people to up their ridiculous K/D ratio. They are the reason why most avoid joining or searching for custom created deathmatches.

Sweet. I'll keep not doing them then.... Cheers for the info. That'll be the 2nd or 3rd deathmatch I've done since launch.
