Selecting correct license plate in iFruit/LSC?

After generating a few license plates in iFruit (Android) that I didn't like, I finally made one I do (below):

Question is, other than getting it on my Bati 801 (don't remember how I did it--don't get old), I haven't been able to figure out how to find and apply this correct plate to all my other PVs in an LSC.

 

Anyone know what I might be doing wrong or how to find it and set it as my default? Also, will this be available for both my characters, or just one?

 

One last question--anyone know what the keyboard shortcut (am on the PC) is for activating the convertible tops in cars like the Felon GT?
