XM25 to Programmable AR

Hi guys!

I'm new to modding and don't know how to mod so can you pls. help me to edit Jridah's "XM25 CDTE" mod to change it's Ammu-Nation name, description and weapon wheel name to "Programmable AR" for my GTA V PC game?

I really don't like the name "XM25 CDTE" and it's description because it is based on the real weapon which is odd and doesn't fit in the game... since GTA IV and V avoid using real names for weapons.

I just want the beta name for it because it's vague like the rest. I don't want to change it's damage, accuracy, distance/range etc.

I need detailed instructions to edit the weapon.. like what editor to use, where and how to find the files and lines that needed to be change to achieve my goal.

Or if any of you have it or can do it, would you kindly pls. give me a link to a version of the mod that the weapon wheel, Ammu-Nation name and description of "XM25 CDTE" is changed to "Programmable AR"? For the description maybe a little vague like:

"Advanced Military Grenade Launcher. Highly-accurate with adjustable range. Fires controllable 20mm airburst grenade rounds."

The Programmable AR is cut GTA V replace by Grenade Laucher.

Find the .gxt2 files in xm25 dlc.rpf

then extract it to open formats (right click and extract to open formats)

save it eg: on your desktop

then open it with notepad

Replace all XM25 with Programmable AR and change the description how you want

Import openformats

and done!
