Money drop

I was playing gta v online on xbox 360 earlier this morning, just doing my thing, when all of a sudden the game kept glitching to an area where I'd be secluded with 2 other players. It happend two or three times in my session until it happened again and my character was frozen in place and money bags began dropping from the sky and landing on me while the other two players were standing away from me... I thought it was a lucky break and I got the phone up and started depositing 80,000,000. The final payout was a couple hundred grand over that. And I was able to play for another 15 minutes when the person advertising the "money drop" (on YouTube) began messaging me about having relations with my gf for lack of better terms (which I thought was hilarious) and then next thing you know, the connection falls and I get kicked off the server and now everytime I try to log back in the server fails and says my system cannot connect online... can anyone tell me wtf happened? If this has happened to you? OR am I just being paranoid and it's all a coincidence?
