COKE HAS CHANGED THE GAME

making money while having fun...made 10 million already...just resupply with a group every once in a while...easy money

why did Rockstar do this? ruins shark cards

also people spend more time doin COKE supply and sell...then free roamin for fun

MOST IMPORTANTLY though...the idea of 8 MC members running around together and not be able to kill eachother is A GAME CHANGER

once MORE MEMBERS can be added...free roam will have to accompany 100's of players...to fit gangs of 20 in a session

THE FUTURE IS LOOKING GOOD FOR GTAO...just need more powerful machines to run it

Judging by the caps, it seems like you got into a bit of your supply.

It tastes just like it looks, DELICIOUS.

It did change the game. It made it boring as sh*t.

Go here and get supplies. Now go back there. Now go here and get supplies. No go back to where you were. Now go here and get more supplies. NOW GO BACK TO WHERE YOU WERE.

After five and a half hours? Now god sell these in really slow, really dull vehicles that make selling narcotics across state lines about as entertaining as having your character stand still. So. f*cking. Boring.

God, imagine the session splits and unknown errors then.

On topic, it's pretty nice to have something in the background to make money I guess. But the phone calls are really annoying, and I think you've got your hopes set a little too high for the future.

The foreseeable future is a bike every week or so.

By getting rid of it?

Joke, before I trigger anyone.

It's just the CEO warehouse thing with a different name, nothing more. Don't really see how it made the game exciting unless you like to fool yourself into thinking selling coke in a video game somehow makes you Tony Montana.

I maxed out my factory twice and then gave up. I'm away to get rid of the factory and sell a few duped Sultans instead. LJT phoning every 4 or 5 minutes makes me want to snap my GTA V disc!

The only fun part is interrupting the sale and then laughing as you receive angry messages. Not as if you loose any money in having a shipment destroyed seeing as the supplies are free is you steal them.

At least you don't have to fly your buzzard across the map 3 times for 3 damn packages!

And roleplaying in GTAO is one of the few things that still makes me play the game.

Yes, I like the "fool myself" my character has an actual background story.

Solid Scorpion

I've gotta agree with the op.

After dipping in and out the past year it's this update that's got me playing regularly again.

Yeah CEO and crates is a good earner and probably a faster, but owning multiple businesses and seeing them grow is fun for me.

Some of the unique missions are pretty cool too. I'm based in Paleto and am actually enjoying all the driving and riding.

I find myself caring less about the cash grind and just enjoying the game again, the cash is just an appreciated bonus.

Same as CEO stuff. Stop having the entire enterprise being locked to one (or two) locations that the players has to constantly go back to. Doing a large warehouse is agony in CEO and running just two MC bisuness is so dull.

Have the game played out over the entire map. Rather than always going back to one place take items/stock/supplies from one place to another and not just simply picking up and ferrying.

Rather than constantly going back to your business location you would be able to drop off your supplies for a courier/henchman npc to pick up and take back for you. We have many other npc's doing all of our work but we have to do the repetitive menial stuff ourselves. I like doing missions, stealing, fighting and shooting. What I don't like is ferrying and fetching.

Remove the aspect of other players destroying your sh*t and make NPC's the main enemy.

Change the aspect of the game from fetching to a group of tasks. Instead of having to get a dozen bars of supplies for a full coke lab you would instead do several mini missions to get either half or the entire supply (difficulty increased for whole loads).

So your first port of call would be to gather intelligence yourself on who has supplies (this would be using purchasable equipment or simply intimidation (hanging someone off of a skyscraper, strapping them to the underneath of a helicopter and so on.

Then you would find out where and when you will be able to steal supplies (there would be more than one place to steal on the enemy supply route so you would be able to plan your own attack.

Then once you have stolen the goods, either by stealth or outright violence, you would then make a run to get your goods to safety. From the drop off point a reliable npc takes your gear to the business. Job done.

This would leave MC players and groups to continue roaming the map in freeroam and not feel locked down into returning to the same places all the time. After all, we are supposed to be rovin bike gangs. Not couriers.

CEO is a gang of 2

I enjoy this new method as well. If you steal your supplies strategically, you can go about doing whatever you want until your warehouse fills up. I'll play a race playlist or grind some vip or biker contracts. It really is a load off and lessens the grind IMO, but that's just me :/

Well you're one of my brothers so I wouldn't direct negativity towards you.

It is a decent side-grind. Though I don't think we'll see sessions with 100s of people in them for a long time. I'm not sure we ever should unless we get dedicated servers to go with them.

After these last updates, freeroam has really a lot of new activities to play, and if before it was just wandering around killing each other, now it's wandering arround killing each other but with actual goals and missions. If CEO was already content-rich, now you can even switch between rich criminal to motorclub leader for some extra fun.

However, these clearly changed other things for the negative. The short-lived freeroam events are an example, apparently those quite fun ones such as the king of the castle (I guess that's how it was called) seemingly disappeared, and races, missions or heists with randoms have noticeably less players. I guess if for one side players moved into these new stuff and left aside the older content, for the other Rockstar also cut some [good] content to give more emphasis to CEO and MC jobs.

When you find that golden video game that isn't and won't get repetitive, send me a private message, id like to own it.

I restart the game when I land on the truck selling mission, just as any sane person would. :)
