is something broken at setup "convoy" ?

Sometimes this setup gives you 22k instead of 26k. Since much time before the last update.

Fast travel/trip skip costs 4K. That fee is taken from the payout rather than being paid directly at the time of trip skipping.

Kuruma is for noobs. Period. If you are above level 100 and regularly drive a kuruma.. it's time to put away the crutches and training wheels.

The insurgent gunner has always been OP. I've done this setup more times than I care to think about at this point... I've seen many many MANY players get rekt in this setup by the gunner. The latest update hasn't changed that.

and if the players are professional plus the truck driver didn't ditch the truck , there will be A.I stupidity that involves the gunner

the gunner disregard the safety of the truck and so , taking out both gunner and truck driver is vital ( seeing as gunner's tendecy to shoot the truck and driver's foolishness driving the truck into the water ) before they end up destroying the truck

Sitting in the Kuruma is boring. Get out there and fight.

Exactly. Who wants to sit in a car the whole time. Takes all the fun away.

You get 22K on hard when using trip skip.

Edit: sorry, I just realized the explanation have been posted above

You can drive right past the convoy without any shooting, then the truck will turn around and follow you. The chopper will still come after you so you have to shoot it down.

That insurgent gunner always had a two shot kill on people with Heavy Armor when heists first came out. I was the victim of it 3 times.

Back when I did heists I'd always use the Kuruma for cover, but I'd be out of the car and using long guns.

It's boring, but when you're doing the same mission for the 1000th time you just want to finish it as quick as possible. And if you play with randoms, you also want the safest option.

Initial.Dinka

Nobody knows.

could be a bug or a hidden buff.

just use the Kurama

Why are you so dismissive? if gta was as boring as your comment I would stop playing immediately. I guess you're the type of person who runs people over for not getting into your kuruma eh?

Maybe think a little more before twisting my words.

Firstly, I said: "If you are above level 100 and regularly drive a Kuruma...". The kuruma has its place: transporting single digit characters who would otherwise die if an enemy npc looks at them wrong and the bag holder in Pac Stan finales. "Best vehicle for the job" is subjective, and I would argue that the Kuruma is not the best for the Comvoy setup.

I see far too many players who rely on the kuruma. For those players it isn't "the best vehicle for the job" .. it's the ONLY vehicle for the job.

So yes, that's what I'm saying. Kuruma = Easy mode = noobish behavior.

So you pretty much just repeated yourself, right? There's absolutely good reason for why players rely on the Kuruma- because just maybe on Pac standard, a five star onslaught of cops across a decent distance of the map requires a decent amount of protection. After four people have just fought down the alleyway and used up alot of their armor and snacks (usually), they don't want to put anything else in jeopardy. So why wouldn't they use it?

You can pretty much apply this to alot of setup missions too if you just care about them being reliably achieved. Yes, it may not be the fastest, but nothing else comes close to the balance of performance / armor it has that is as easily available.

Yes, it is tempting to stereotype those who use strong vehicles as "noobs". But in GTA Online missions I hardly think there's a ranking for how well you can perform with a handicap- people just want to see money and success fast and stress-free. And I hardly think they should be blamed for that.

Agreed with the side of pro-kuruma. While I do prefer a challenge by going on foot at times, I do go with the Kuruma when I'm feeling too paranoid about dying. I'm real tired of seeing constant failures in heists because someone got gunned down by a crackshot NPC from random corners. So I completely understand the reasoning behind using the Kuruma for a really high rate of success. We all know the A.I. in this game can be bullcrap at times, so why not take some measures to prevent that? I don't want people to get mad at me for dying, so rolling with a Kuruma significantly reduces that from happening.

If the A.I. were balanced in accuracy, there wouldn't be any worries in missions like Series A-Coke where the passenger of the Frogger would become swiss cheese in around 10 seconds.

I always use the Insurgent in this mission. You need to be more careful because is obviously easier to get shot down inside it, but I've lost the count of how many times it's saved me from explosions(Savage).

That and it makes great cover for blockades. I should start using it more.

Yes Insurgent and a vest is failproof for this mission and a Carbonizzare is vaaaastly superior than a Kuruma if you want to go that way. But if you get a crew who rush and dont snipe the savages you really want to be in the insurgent.

The day they blacklist the armored kuruma in the pacific standard heist and setups will be the best day ever. They should nerf the pay by 50% and give you more money for taking longer like missions. Gotta wait 15 minutes to get the full payout lol Would love that we could finally get the b&m topic more pages than the speculation thread.

Four cops that shoot at you on the escape is "an onslaught of cops"? Dude, unless you manage to get the cops aggressive, it's a TWO STAR wanted level. It may show five, but it's 2 in reality.

The escape is literally the easiest part.

I'm not seeing an "onslaught of cops" anywhere in this clip. You're one of those people who don't know anything about heists, and therefore thinks they're sooooo hard and it's impossible without a kuruma.

I agree partially, you shouldn't be able to access your garage during that heist..

Good old times when i blew up any kuruma i saw at the beginning of a heist setup/finale..People were not happy about losing their noob shell.
