Tried the phone number a few days ago. it worked. Guy on the other end sounded like an Armenian. Seems like an inside job....

 

Anyways, jokes aside, support seems very lackin. been well over 2 weeks now, watching my friends play, they will soon be bored of it.

 

I will be sure to think twice about buying anything from a company with links to rockstar in the future now. What a debacle.

I asked them to reset my ammo to 0 after a script kiddie have given me all weapons and max ammo(like 9900 bullets for all categories...)

 

They "answered"(bot) that I should not worry to be banned lmao...my request is now marked as "solved" or closed...their support SUX HARD, it took me perhaps 5 Hours or more to get ride those unwanted ammos.

I asked them to give me 2 million because of the VIP stuff in my office.

 

The lady was very kind and now I got 2 million more on my online bank account lol

5/6 times in my experience, I found R* support to move slower than a glacier

Smh... got my meth lab raided yesterday (successfully too) due to the heli chopper not spawning properly so I write a ticket asking to reimburse the total potential money lost because of a bug in their game.

 

Here's their reply...

Yesterday I reported the bugging supplies for my sec characters MC businesses ( after login suddenly I have supply without buying or stealing and they are consumed without giving product).

 

Support first told me to use the Steam repair, now they want me to reinstall the game. :facedesk::angry::sui:

 

 

 

The only good thing I can say so far is that they unlocked the Sanctus for purchasing again - after I undenieably proved that I previously owned it by showing pics of me wearing the shirt.

Cheaters who got ban,they give now downvote(negative review) on steam for Gta. LOL

 

They could be non-cheaters/hackers too. If R* gave you the ban, you would've downvoted the game like everyone else would.

Since everything is negative here,let me share a positive experience.I've lost 4 top-tier vehicles because of a connection issue while exporting them so i sent a ticket about it.They sent me 420k cash in less than 6 hours.

We all know that the support sucks galore when it comes to certain things but what I've experienced now really tops everything!

 

One of the guys there did actually changed the concerned game I had a problem with from GTA:O to Red Dead 2 presumably to deflect attention from their observing supervisors (had lots of trouble with them mostly related to Shark Card boni and basically always get a "satisfaction survey" via email now). Their problem is I don't have any of the Red Deads. I actually don't even have a PS3/4 (anymore). So this is totally BS and I'm 100% sure I didn't just messed up simply because you also have to select the platform you're playing on and as we all know Red Dead isn't available for the PC. So, one can't even select this game when PC is selected. At the moment "null" is listed as platform which is quite funny and even underlines my suspicion.

 

What a bunch of "insert the worst insult you know of here".

 

Think I've to contact R* North directly to make them aware what's going on with their support. Un-f'in-believable!

Asked for email proof of purchase which I sent right over and like an hour later they had credited me for the amount plus extra 2 mil!!

Seems to work best if you call first then email proof as needed. Same guy I spoke to replied to my email.

Also do not use the words "reset", "ban" or "unban" in your request ticket. That way you do not get the bot response and the automatic closure of the ticket.

even if you dont use those words but youre ticket is about a ban/set, it would get marked as solved once a agent read it.

 

no point in making a support ticket for those topics

Then you got lucky. I had trouble with them related to Shark Card boni multiple times already. The sheme always was like this.

 

A) File request -> get Zendesk bot answer

B) Write message including all relevant infos and proofs that already were in the first post of the request -> support staff not really helpful or just being lazy

C) Write another "more direct" message -> support eventually did what should have been an automated action (allocate the boni) or could have happend at an earlier stage already

 

I've also once tried it by phone with the German support and the person on the other side had the IQ of an ashtray and simply wasn't able to get her act together. Some of my buddies had the same problems and trouble and partially stopped to try and care because they don't deem all the effort worthwhile.

 

That said I also have a positive example in which one of my buddies called them and got his bonus 15 mins later ingame.

 

Still the overall performance is a joke!

 

Concerning the last request about the "snapshot" I've already posted above. The request was set to "solved" but only for the moment. I was assured that the problem got escalated and forwarded to the respective department (or what ever). Just to achieve this it needed a few more posts in which I had to "put the gun to their chest" figuratevly spoken. The so far final reply came from somebody else presumably a little higher up in the chain.

Like expected I also got a "satisfaction survey" request via email which I filled out in detail to let them know something is definitely wrong with their support. I can just hope that these negative reports pile up on someones virtual desk and that somebody will take action someday. That's why I urge everybody to fill out such survey if you ever get one.

This is why I never bought shark cards from them. Their customer service doesn't exist for the most part.

I know This is an old Topic, but is there anyway to get through to R* Support? I'm on the Submit new Ticket Page, but it keeps Loading/refreshing? like every 2 seconds.

 

I Recieved a 150% rebate for any card purchase Ad in game. It was supposed to be good until Jan, 8th. I bought a Mega card on the 8th at the local Gamestop, and now I haven't recieved the rebate/bonus cash yet? I have proof(Screenshot) of the Ad and the Paper reciept still. I've learned to keep proof now as this is the 2nd time this has happened to me.

 

Btw Anyone have an 1-800# for them, as the one a page or 2 back seems to be missing a digit for the US one.

From what I've read they no longer answer phone calls. You have to talk to the AI bots on the support page but honestly there's no real people there. Don't buy shark cards btw.. you need to learn to glitch your money

Not surprised R* Support are more attentive to shark-card related issues than general gameplay issues.

Useless, they can keep the refund money for the scammed Hermes. There are plenty of great glitches out there now to get that money back.

Wait 3 days just so they can tell you they cant help you, seriously if you are having some in-game problems dont go on rockstar support because they wont help, i remember getting a duplicate t shirt for this Christmas eve and they said that i have no proof and i can basically go f*ck myself. They're useless
