It's slow as sh*t, with a lot of errors happening. I mean a lot.

When I go into my garage, business or office it takes a long time to load and sometimes even having to shutdown the game.

 

When I made a delivery it took a long time for me to exit the warehouse.

 

Mechanic is slow and the Interaction Menu to call your bike lags just as much as the mechanic.

 

My outfits were all gone and I had to go redo everything.

 

Anyone observing the same thing? It's pretty much unacceptable for a company and a game of this magnitude.

I'm on PC, and I've experienced the above.

I'm not going to list my PC specs, but I play the game on a mixture of Very High-High settings on high speed internet.

This doesn't happen often, but on occasion I'll see

 

-Very long loading times for entering/leaving an MC warehouse

My friends have noticed the same thing. Upon delivery, if you do not hear the garage opening and crate unloading noise then you're stuck until either someone else delivers, or if you have nobody in your organization you have to restart the game and lose your progress.

Again, it doesn't happen every time, just something that occasionally bugs out and ruins a deliver or two.

 

-The mechanic and vehicle delivery is a lot slower lately

I honestly feel like this isn't a bug, and they just increased times. But if it is a bug, it's a very annoying one.

Mechanic delivery times have more than doubled, not to mention ordering a bike from the MC menu will spawn it across multiple streets. The absence of waiting is welcome, but often replaced with having to run across a few intersections to get to your bike. Not ideal when being attacked.

 

-Outfits disappearing

Happened back before the big outfit-wipe scare. Except for me, it wasn't all of my outfits. Just four of my non-glitched ones for seemingly no reason. All of my glitched outfits were intact, and I hadn't switched characters before the disappearance...

 

Not to mention things like the heavy sniper getting bugged, vehicle EMS not working if driven out of the garage, and a score of other things.

 

I would put this update pretty high one the "glitchy mess" list.

 

when i log in and spawn at my yacht I proceed to enter my chopper and immediately kicks me back out and a message pops up saying I have no access to this personal vehicle....

 

This has also happened to me, but only twice.

Just set GTA5.exe on High Priority.

Can you tell me how to do it on Win10? I knew how to do it on WinXP in the task manager, but I can't find there on 10.

 

Well, I don't have much trouble with the game stability, but sometimes (very rarely tbh) my game freezes and Windows is telling me that my Nvidia (GTX 770) display driver stopped responding and has recovered -> game crashed. Today it happened again, so I searched a bit and someone (Steam community) said that you go to "My Docs/Rockstar Games/GTA V/settings.xml and change the DX_Version value=2 to =1. Some people said that it worked for them.

Apparently many Nvidia users have this problem. I'll see if that works for me as well.^^

I love the "I deserve better" attitude without realising that half of these problems may not be Rockstar's fault. The Interaction Menu problem is annoying though, I'll give you that.

How about you try to shoot at a jet thats a reasonable distance away with BST and a heavy sniper.

 

And come back to me and prove me right that the heavy sniper is bugged at long distance, then we'll see if it's lag or not.

I can confirm this. Tried to snipe someone in his standing car from the top of a building, and although my crosshair turned red a couple times (as if I hit him), nothing happens. I then switched to homing launcher (couldn't target his car because it was too far away) and blew him up.

you also have pink sniper, its well known and rockstar has explained many times that pink gun tints reduce damage, cause they are girlie and girls are usually perceived as weaker and inferior.

It's not the OP's fault that some people would rather crop out my post and address the only thing that wasn't meant to promote discussion.

It has def gotten buggier since bikers, and that's not even considering connection issues. Lots more cases where I have to fully close the app now.

Weirdly enough, that's the catagory where me and friends have been experiencing less issues.

 

Immediately after the Biker's release, we saw a pretty much 100% increase in game crashes. Usually after extended play the game would just flatout crash and we would call it a night.

Though at least that seemed to have been patched or somehow mitigated.

Not sure about other people.

I don't know what to think about the issues people have with disconnects etc, my internet is at best mediocre and I very rarely have any problems so it seems logical to me that if someone is having regular issues it's probably something on their end that's causing it.

 

But then I've seen people swearing that everything else they play runs flawlessly and GTAO is just clouds and disconnects for them. I'm not sure what to believe but I tend to go off my own experience.

I've been playing this game from the start, other than the growing pains for a few months on PS3 and for like a few weeks after PS4 release I've had virtually zero network issues with this game.

 

I too believe that it's most likely the issues are caused by something on their own end, whether it be ports not forwarded or improperly forwarded ports and in some home network setups, not having DMZ setup properly and some other things. Or they just have really bad internet, which unfortunately there's little chance of them being able to fix that.

The occasional frame-rate drop happens from 2-3 things,

1st being the process on normal priority(even if you set it to high there will be FPS drop)

2nd being the CPU using all of the cores at first and not using some at later time in the game

3rd being that CPU and GPU heating up even if you have a good cooling system,(I use a laptop so there is no cooling system than the stock one provided) I solved this by increasing the Fan speed by making a script to run a dust cleaning feature to run over and over so the fan keeps running at high speed which solves the framerate problem, and i use WHQL 368.8 since upgrading to higher drive gives me a texture bug that puts spot on my online character.

For other problems First set your GTAV.exe process to Above normal then set the affinity to only on one processer un-check all boxes only leave the last one ticked, apply it then set the priority to High and set the affinity to all processors, for subprocess.exe just set them all to High or Above High(this makes the loading of the social club menu, Purchasing any stuff in-game or anything online related a little faster to load atleast it does for me) also if you don't change your graphics setting alot to restart the game instantly or the game crash< you can close the GTAVLauncher.exe as it also makes the game slower sometimes>

Why is it after every update it seems that this game is going through the growing pains of the past. I was playing and the game is lags and pauses on its own. I run the game off a Samsung 950 Pro m.2 SSD with a 90Mpbs Internet connection... i5 4690K over clocked at 4.7ghz with 8GB of Ram and a GTX 770 4GB video card; playing on 27" screen at 1440p

 

I don't experience any of the problems you described.

 

Most be something wrong on your end with your Computer.

I do not experience this problem...

 

But I have noticed that R* seems to have changed the distance that the bullet is allowed to travel.

 

I used to be able to shoot at, and blow up, planes sitting on the Sandy Shores airfield... WHILE STANDING ATOP MT CHILIAD!!

 

Mind I couldn't see or target players, but I could zoom in enough to see planes on the run way and so long as they're just sitting there, I could shoot them.... and they would blow up after about a minute of shots... you can't see or hear the explosion but you can see the plane flip up and over and its wings break off and fly apart.... just as it does when its blown up.

 

Now however after the Bikers update, that doesn't seem to work out as well as it used too.
