Why is it after every update it seems that this game is going through the growing pains of the past. I was playing and the game is lags and pauses on its own. When I go into my garage, business or office it takes a long time to load and sometimes even having to shutdown the game because I cannot wait.

 

I also get an all gray screen and then buildings and landscape start to slowly appear. WTF.

 

The lags have also caused me to lose all my supplies. When I made a delivery it took a long time for me to exit the warehouse. By the time I appeared the trucks were already destroyed. WTF.

 

Mechanic is slow and the Interaction Menu to call your bike lags just as much as the mechanic.

 

I have to hit the Interaction Menu multiple times because I constantly get the 'Not Available'.

 

My outfits were all gone and I had to go redo everything.

 

Anyone observing the same thing? It's pretty much unacceptable for a company and a game of this magnitude.

 

I play on PC btw.

connection wise, since I changed my provider is perfect, I play with friends often, in party chats etc, no1 else complains about connection

 

bugs come with every update, and R* will attempt to patch them

 

 

 

 

have a tea, chill and watch some C.K Louis standup, there are worse things to complain about in life believe me

 

edit maybe you need a new PC, or maybe you forget to shut it down when you are finish, clear cookies, close applications...PC does a whole more than gaming...

when i log in and spawn at my yacht I proceed to enter my chopper and immediately kicks me back out and a message pops up saying I have no access to this personal vehicle....

I'm on the same platform OP and the only thing you mentioned that I sometimes experience since the biker update is 'I have to hit the Interaction Menu multiple times because I get the 'Not Available'.

 

That's new to me but it only happens in crowded sessions which makes me think it's just lag. Before you start the game make sure to close all other apps, maybe even clear caches or run CCleaner or something. My game lags sometimes but generally I get 60fps without any latency so I think it's not entirely the game ...but it is acting buggy sometimes.

I play on both PS4 and PC and the only "major" problems I've encountered so far are the loss of my saved outfits (on both platforms) and the occassional drop out of sessions/missions due to some network errors, which in turn is nothing new in this game.

 

Loading times on PS4 (and also Xbox 360, when I was on that platform in the early days of GTA:O) have always been painfully slow. There have certainly been times when stuff takes so long to load that I think the game has frozen, but it rarely did. PC is a lot faster in the loading department and if you experience it as being slow, I'd really recommend you look up your Internet provider and see how good your connection is.

its pretty clear we all have different connection issues, its a game we enjoy and wanna play, that factor does make the waiting seem longer but its just one of those things man...theres is no ONE reason, its depends on a lot of things...

 

I mean, am I crazy to say that? does that not sound reasonable? does that make me a R* fanboy or ssss, something (Morty voice)

I'm not having problems with the game. It's probably your PC.

Just set GTA5.exe on High Priority.

With that said coding is an extremely hard discipline. Extremely. Adding a single line of code can cause tons of bugs, especially if there are typos. New code can confuse the computer when related to old code and so on and so forth. Gta is a massive game. They have to have at least 50k pages of code. Sometimes finding that one little typo or whatever can take a long time.

They have hundreds of professional coders who have months/years to fix the bugs in this game. But they won't. because that doesn't make them money.

It seems that with every new DLC, we get a slight drop in FPS. I wonder why, are they updating the textures maybe? lel

 

Especially in the city, after this biker update, my FPS can drop to around 45. Before Stunning Cünts, I would get in average somewhere between 60-70.

 

And no, I haven't made any changes to my graphic settings. They're the same since the day I first installed the game.

3-4 days ago it was buggy as hell for me even though my connection is fine enough, But now i play in full sessions or with 24-26 people all the time from loading in to Online first time to changing sessions,

the only time i experienced couple of bug were in a Humane Labs Heist, it was the first setup mission Key Codes, and Karen didn't come at all and first time ever in my gtao life i see the Mission Over Fail screen, second time the same thing happened.

Kind of Mitch and Boan, but absolutely true at the same time. Easily the buggiest update there's ever been.

 

Constant unknown network errors, empty sessions, lag. Then you've got all the glitches. Also some really bad fixes - the gas mask for one.

 

But rules are rules I guess (not that I'm one to enforce them).

There's a bug with the heavy sniper.

Since I PvP alot, it's really triggering.

 

the bug happens when you're sniping at a long range, the bullet does no damage like at all. no matter how many times you shoot them
