No LS Blackout?

Sorry if this is obvious but is their no free roam blackout? Is it only in adversary modes?

Was at work all day and hoping for a blackout in GTA to get some hella pics.

Its only in the gamemode because if it was in freemode we might have fun for once. And there too stupid to allow us to use the weather effects from christmas and now halloween weather in the creator. Would love to create all sorts of things but nooooo. I might have fun for once. Like we can't even have all the weapons or cars in the creator. Would create hundreds of gamemodes from mta but can't due to there poor decision to limit the creator so much. The entire game was made with the creator we currently have but we only have like 1% of the creator tools that are available. Sad that a creator such as samp or mta is 7+ years old but allows you do what ever you want. I thought this was an open world sandbox game not a half a**ed attempt at an mmo.

This makes me wonder whether we can go to the city during the Humane Labs Raid after all lights are off or the mission would just fail leaving the area.

Play a Lost VS. Damned adversary and confirmed that you do have a "play area" and if left you do have a time limit to get back in the play section.

On PC in single-player there are 2 types of Blackouts , 1 just shuts down all the light on building texture and street lights, all the open interior lights,

2nd one shuts down everything form the 1st option as well as all the vehicles, which means if a NPC is driving a ground vehicle he will stop in the middle of the road and get out(If you get in that car it won't start), if a NPC is flying any aircarft he will just jump out because any plane/helicopter just shuts down in the air.

so if the 2nd option gets activated in online then all the people will be just running on foot including us online players and there would be shut downed vehicles all over the road.

Edit:- this is made possible through applying EMP blackout codes(script) from Humane labs which applies to the whole city. and only possible using a Mod(SP). But it looks cool at night as when there's a full/half moon the whole city gets ambient lighting and in foggy weather it looks even cooler.

Edit(again):- You can only ride bicycles, every one would be Bicycle Gangstas.

What about the Coil Voltic? It's an electric car, and can also survive hitting a propane tank. So why not an EMP blackout?

edit: it kills the lights of the car, but the car itself works fine. The ferris wheel keep moving as well, I guess they forgot about that.

You can, just fly over. At least you could at some point because I have done it before.

 

Yeah, you can, I've had to sometimes during the part where everyone is in the valkyrie taking on helicopters because sometimes the enemy buzzards spawned in the city.

 

 

Also playing slasher on the yacht, you can see the city blacked out, it looks so sexy.

Doesn't anyone remember last year? There's no blackout in Free Roam because there were a lot of bugs with it. The city still looks like the lights are on, the Ferris Wheel and Roller Coaster keeps on moving, Neon Lights are still on, and (at least I heard) the time gets stuck at midnight, somehow making some events have unlimited time (meaning King of the Castle never ends, any mission making you protect something will eventually end in vain etc.)

If that's the case, then they should have just added the weather from the adversary mode to freeroam for when it's night, they wasted it on a sh*tty adv mode instead.

EMP fries electric or magnetic sensitive objects like Chipsets like in our Electronics which controls most of the functions in a device,

Main example is that Electrical Transformers or Distribution Transformers on Electrical poles, If any of these malfunction and blows up they discharge an Electromagnetic Pulse which takes out any electrical equipment.( I've only provided the normal types of EMP there's a whole Wiki page which states a lot of info of EMP types in detail. so just stated a normal understandable example)
