Cinematics Animator Felipe Busquets Leaves Rockstar After 11 Years

After 11 years at Rockstar I've decided to move on to look for new exciting opportunities. I wish my friends in the R* dev team all the best

 

Felipe Busquets helped create the cutscenes in GTA: Liberty City Stories, Manhunt 2, GTA: Vice City Stories, GTA IV (creating over 60 minutes of cutscene animation), The Lost and Damned, The Ballad of Gay Tony, and Red Dead Redemption. As Lead Cinematics Animator, Busquets did motion capture shoots and managed teams creating cutscenes in L.A. Noire, Max Payne 3, and Grand Theft Auto V.

Such a shame... it's really sad to see more and more veterans of the company leaving. I'm really hoping they get their stuff together on the inside, otherwise Rockstar as a company - known for their quality, will be tarnished.

Christ, he's just an animator, it's not like he's taken the whole animation team with him. People move on from jobs all the time, it doesn't always need to be a source of DRAMA.
