Global Biker Scaling?

  1. 1. Should biker content scale all missions to fit the size of your MC?

    • Yes, it should automatically scale for fewer vehicles and more drops with smaller MC's.

    • Yes, but we should be able to choose by selecting how much product to sell at once.
      14
    • No, but the timer should be extended or removed.
      2
    • No, it's fine as is.

We've seen that Rockstar clearly has the ability to scale missions to match the size of your MC, supply runs and most contracts are proof of this.

My question is: Would it be better to apply that scaling to all biker missions?
We already have special sell missions for Weed and Forgeries that completely ignore your MC size and give you just 1 vehicle and supply runs with a max of 2 vehicles for 80-100% supply or up to 8 individual packages with a full MC as opposed to 1 package when solo, so clearly R* isn't absolutely opposed to this idea. Weed Farms already do this with it's special sale. A small sale gives you a rat truck with one big crate in back whereas a full sale gives you a single big rig instead.

Right now the biggest problems for people in smaller MC's are either having no one free to actually defend your product while running all 3-4 vehicles or having to leave one or two completely defenseless. while you deliver the first safely.

And then there's the issue of having to spend 5-10 minutes simply making the trek back to retrieve the next one. This problem has made Paleto Bay properties virtually useless to anyone who doesn't always have 3-7 friends on and willing to help at all times.

I can think of two ways to improve this:

-The missions scale where the number of vehicles would equal 1/2 of the MC size making even the most annoying missions more tolerable. Example: 2 man MC - 1 Post Op van with 15 drops. 4 man MC - 2 vans with 7-10 drops each. 6+ man MC's would get 3-4 vans with 5 each. This would mean only 8 man MC's would have missions like delivering 4 slow as fart baggers to every corner of the map and no matter what you would have someone free to actually try and protect each chunk of your cargo.

-Another way would be to add sale sizes, the same as how CEO's can choose how much supply to buy. A 33% sale with only 1 vehicle needed, 66% with 2, or a full sale where all bets are off.

-Alternatively, simply removing the timer would at least give small MC's the time needed to drive/fly back to their businesses over and over.

Is it fine as is or should we petition for an adjustment - and which one?

Yes they should be.

I'm tired of having to travel 5 in game miles just to get there and 5 just to get back.

Then having to deal with like 50 npcs

And it'll only just be me and a friend sometimes another friend.

Yeah I agree with your observations, I really wish we could select the amount of product we can sell like the ceos can.

It's gotten to the point for me and my businesses around sandy shores/grapeseed, especially with the document forgery, that if I get post op vans or trashmasters ill just drive them into the alamo sea instead of even trying. 6 mile freakin drive 3 times one way - f*ck that. I could run 2-3 contracts in that time and recoup my losses that way.

You can determine how much product to sell. Just sell asap dont wait until its full. If you're a lone wolf then 1 - 1/2 bars is 1 vehicle. You dont get more money for selling in bulk like CEO so dont wait.

You could close the program right away and not lose anything I think. If you want to be more legitimate you could even just switch sessions, last time I got the post op I did that, and didn't even lose any product.

Personally, I loathe "fetch" missions, so driving all over the map just to complete a mission makes me simply not do the mission.

Spoken like someone who doesn't have 5 active businesses. Some sell sh*t takes so long you can't keep up with supply and sell missions to always get a 1 vehicle sell. God forbid you step away to take a piss, whoops, just passed that random barrier and now you're screwed. Hell I've had 3 vehicle sales at 2.5 bars. Even the dumbest hick biker wouldn't arrange 6 digit sales like what GTA has. Worst part is, if you want to change things up a bit and run some contracts, or a mission, or do the double cash/rp bonus event, lulzurf*cked. You get locked into a constant chase of only doing biker sales and nothing else without screwing yourself over.

This wasn't a big deal with CEO because it's all localized downtown, travel time was 90 seconds at most, not 5+ minutes just to reach your sell locations.

That being said, this was supposed to be biker DLC, and we rarely use OUR bikes. "Take this sh*t stock vehicle halfway across the map"... Best biker missions in game are two at the Forgery where you use your custom bike and a big ass duffel of illicit goods and deliver stuff to the buyers. THAT is biking. 10 mil worth of bikes in my garage and most of my time is spent in some sh*t stock crapmobile that tries to explode if you have the nerve to approach a hill... 2.5 mil sunk into that Sanctus and most of the time it's used for 30 seconds as a nothing more than a means to reach a sh*ttier vehicle...
