I was making a post then I just realised, isn't it weird that we have Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton running for US prez (I'm British btw) and in gta there are two politicians (Jock Cranley and Sue Murray) battling it out as well!?!?

 

what a coincidence or is it? (illumin....what? who sed that???)

 

(this is not about politics , just about the coincidence , please discuss this only (man aint tryna get locked)

Can't say I saw it comming... I never thought trump would make it this far. I saw him as a gimmick that would disappear rather fast.

 

But on topic:

I think it's a coincidence. It was inevitable that this election or the next would be between a woman and a man.

Maybe there are more simillarities between real life and the game, but I haven't listend to the in game campain.

OP the problem with that pic is that its disinformation...

 

while they did mention trump as president in a episode from the year 2000, that pic was part of the promo for season 26 launched in july 2015, 1 month after trump announced his candidacy, so they just recreated the scene down to the fan dropping the sign.

Increase that by Tenfold if Trump gets elected...

Should be said though, Trump has literally no chance in hell. He just doesn't have the 270 he needs, even if he grabs every pussy in every battleground state he's done.

Vote Sue Murray if you want San Andreas to turn into a more environmentally friendly state, have a better education system, reduce pollution drastically by making hybrids and electric cars the only private vehicles to be owned in the city, reduced sentences for prisoners who didn't commit murder, so on and so forth.

 

Vote Jock Cranely if you want all of the budget to be blown on law enforcement and allowing them to be brutal as well as doing nothing useful to the state whatsoever.

 

Sue is the logical choice, the game doesn't even make her look that bad when you compare here to Jock, but my character is a criminal who loves muscle and classic cars so he'll just vote for Cranely and hope he screws up so much he gets replaced by a better republican governor.

Rockstar drags them both through cocoa, and both candidates are pretty much similar to Donald and Hillary.

If AZ doesn't turn blue this year. It'll surely turn blue with the next few election cycles. I wouldn't laugh off the prospect of a Blue (or Blue-leaning) AZ just yet.

 

As for the FBI issue, I just don't see it affecting this election's outcome as no specifics, in regards to why the invesigation was reopened, have been given by Comey.

As the demographics change in the coming years, I can see border states like Texas, etc, becoming battleground states.

 

I don't trust polls for jack..but with the shift within the last 24 hours, I can admit that they might hold weight to them. But for the most part, they can be cooked to go either way.. like her winning nationally by 20 or 12 points.. I find that hard to believe.

 

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh . . . I agree and disagree, as a proper investigation may not come out until after the election, but we simply do not know. There's apparently more dirt coming out on her this coming week (a video about her or top aides being racist or making slurs) by O'keefe coming out.

 

In general, because trump is so unorthodox, it will be interesting to see how the map plays out. People relying on the 2012 map give it too much credit.
