Cudwieser
When the grind has wearied you and you just want to unwind and go for a drive, where do you drive to (if anywhere), how do you get there and what are you driving, riding or flying. What do you do when you get there? Personally I take any fast car or bike with a great sounding engine and either cruise the hills or get a good off roader and hit the trails. Gridl0k
I miss first-person driving through the hills or up the PCH in my topless Casco so much. Not found a car with the same vibe. f*ck you, R*. I do enjoy going for a sedate drive in the monster trucks though. scalliano
A nice, relaxing pedal-to-the-metal thrash around the vineyard dirt roads in my rally-spec Sultan RS or Stirling GT. JesusFR33K
My guy is semi-retired. He goes cruising in cool cars mostly. Occasionally offroading in the trophy truck or marshall. But when i get bored with chillin in passive, i do some money making for fun, instead of necessity. I spent alot of time grinding though to get financial freedom, but it was worth it. ash-274
I was doing that today in IO to block out the demands of CEO and Biker responsibilities. Took my Frankenstange and Lurcher around the Vagos' territory for fun and drove away with 6 of their cars, plus a Dub2. Now my sixth garage is a modest $150,000 "bond reserve" that's 100% legit. zecanelao

It's not hard to get but most label the spawn-able unique vehicles (Chrome/Gold dubsta, Worn sea wash green Sabre, etc) as rare. But yeah, I just love the Peyote topless going up to Paleto. Just enjoying the sights STILL after all these years.

Gnocchi Flip Flops
Well earlier today I grabbed my Obey Individual Teak Brown 9F Spyder and went for a chillax cruise around the map. And by cruise I mean a genuine cruise, following lots of road rules except for passing just a few lights or speeding in some areas. I logged on today and requested my beautiful 9F around noon and right as I hopped in it started to rain. No problem. Took it from my clubhouse in Del Perro down the freeway and up to East Vinewood where it finally stopped raining. Top down. So I passed the casino and hopped right back on the freeway. From there is was smooth sailing at about 70-80mph up to Paleto. Just pure sightseeing. No real destination, just driving. The engine was real smooth too. No music. No engine drone, the 9F is a very subtle sounding car. It can sound really good but at calm speeds it's no louder than an Asterope. Handles like an Asterope at low speeds too. The freeway gets twisty right before you hit the Paleto area and there I gunned it. When you push it the 9F's personality comes out, it was really fun from there to Paleto. Once I reached Paleto I cruised up and down every street, taking in the sights. Stopped at the gas station, pulled into one driveway, met a random with an BeeJay XL. Then I took off. I know taking the Great Ocean Highway back would seem more ideal but meh, too much traffic. I took the freeway. And it was pure cruising again. I gunned it in the tunnel just to hear the sweet sound of the N/A V8 engine but after that it was right lane traveling at 70 again. With no music and no roof this game really comes to life. I took the long way back and stayed on the freeway until the Rockford Hills exit. By then it was midnight. I did some boulevard night cruising and then took that one avenue near the Kortz Center up into the hills where I began my ascent into the Vinewood Hills. There I really tested out my 9F's handling capabilities. It was fun. Around the break of dawn I pulled into a big mansion in the Lakeview residential area and enjoyed pristine views of both the city and the Vinewood sign. I couldn't help but want to hop back into my Spyder though. It looked classy in the driveway of Vinewood's many lavish mansions. I went for a little drive along the mountains and then I was done. This is honestly what I dreamt of doing when I first saw that sexy black 9F Spyder in the first official trailer of V. I've done similar drive in my light blue Carbonizzare but that car begs to be driven fast all of the time. The 9F is a little more sophisticated and versatile. It doesn't care how fast you drive it but when you drive it fast you better be careful. It may have AWD but it's a tricky car to tame at high speeds and I love that. It's a true super car and a proper grand tourer. lll-H-I-M-lll, Forza Harrd and rtie

Forza Harrd
On old gen I would go to SP and play as Trevor riding his Fixter, Michael driving the topless Stinger, Or Franklin in Misty's Cognoscenti Cabrio (repainted of course). On new gen I haven't got that far but still I like to play as Franklin just to go driving with all the added detail in SP, plus more variety in car spawns. Playing online I'm currently addicted to the new choppers for cruising purposes. The Ratbike seems to fit my character really well. It isn't really good for anything else, but for cruising it's excellent. Love the sound. Coleco

JoeBoneless
There's a lake up in the mountains on the northeast corner of the map, I take my dirtbike or atv. Sometimes I would go there ahead of the crew and crash a plane into the lake so we could explore it. Coleco

Why did you have to remind me of the loss? Sick as it sounds, but love that pic. I have to agree would have loved a topless casco (never had one, but I like the coupe as well). Have unfortunately sold my casco coupe for other vehicles but I have my stirling for now. Was on a ride on my sanctus after a mission that took me to the road north of the alamo sea. I found a new, fun activity. Trying to keep a fully tuned sanctus from spinning out on a dirt road. Wonder if the thing can drift. P.s Why was this thread moved. The thread isn't a vehicles thread. it seems the mods don't get sunday driving. It is about shooting the breeze and unwinding for a time away from the general grind of the game by exploring the map and driving around or to somewhere that you can just be free. The mods really need to get out more and see the world and get a grasp of what sunday driving is. It isn't just driving. I'm guessing all the respondants of this thread have lives outside of the game (I know Scaglietti does) and understand moments of casually dicking about and driving around). Please move this thread back to the Online Forum where is belongs. Edited October 30, 2016 by Cudwieser

Rewdalf
Always loved cruising around in the Stinger. Also really appreciated it when they allowed us to toggle the top in LSC. Looks and feels just as nice with the top up during rain. That, or the GT comes out to play. Gnocchi Flip Flops
My next purchase will be a Stirling GT. I've legit never driven that car outside of Northern Los Santos and that was on last-gen. When I first tested it I fell in love but never really took it anywhere as I had no garage space in SP so I let the car go. Nows my time to buy one and take it up to Paleto for the first time. I cannot wait.
