Just noticed there's no Valentines Massacre option. The first one that came out after The Great Money Wipe was gold. It made the Roosevelt one of the rarest cars in the game (along with being a beauty).

if they added it to the game or allowed the glitch again, bikers would go very high up on my list for DLCs.

 

I would have really enjoyed it had I not lost my f*cking face lol, it left me feeling a bit bitter towards the game, so it was very hard to enjoy the dlc after the first few days of release. I still am bitter about it too, I've barely even played gta recently, and I've gone up almost 50 levels in overwatch in the space of two weeks.

 

This reminds me of the tf2 pyro animated short, the mask makes pyro see the world as a bright flowery garden instead of a burning wreck, after losing the mask, every bad thing about this game has just been amplified for me.

Voted for my 4 favourites:

 

Heists: Because of the new vehicles we all got, as well as gear.

 

Finance and Felony: Finally was able to start up a company. Shame we couldn't choose which supplies to focus on, but still, one of my favorites.

 

Cunning Stunts: Mainly because of the ETR1 and new props for the creator.

 

Bikers: We finally got some decent leather clothes.

I'd say a tie between Heists and Bikers.

Bikers has made the game more fun than it has been in months for me. CEO stuff felt like a grind trying to get that gold trophy, gave up 400 crates away but I made a lot of money. Now you can just sit back and do whatever you want while your businesses are producing product. Selling is the only painful part..... damn postal vans can burn. If those drove around the city normally I'd be blowing up every one I saw.

The update that introduced VIP work but the one where we could become CEO is my favorite because I basically skipped vip and went straight to CEO, that buzzard spawn among other perks and no timer. Also when the hydra was released is a good one.

 

I'm more of a freeroam player so it's nice to be able to earn in freeroam.

after losing the mask, every bad thing about this game has just been amplified for me.

Replace "mask" with "helicopters being too weak, or needing a missile jammer" and then it says exactly how I feel too.

 

Every update that they don't do something ... It makes it a struggle to stay positive.

 

I know that makes me sound overdramatic or whatever, but it's something so simple for them to do, and they just ... Urgh.

 

It casts a shadow over everything. Really hope you get that mask back. At the very least, they should sell a legit version if they're not going to allow the glitched one.

 

On topic, I guess it probably has to be heists - that gave a Hind and a Huey. Weak as f*ck sure, but still incredible machines.

I'm naturally going to favour any DLC that introduces good vehicles and/or clothing, so I'd likely go with I'm Not Hipster (the cars here were both lovely and affordable) and Lowriders/Lowriders: Custom Classics for the cars. It's missing from the list, but the Valentine's Day Update was simply wonderful for the clothing alone. I know the Lowrider updates get a lot of flack, but I cannot ever doubt my love for classic cars and I also happen to enjoy lowriders very much, so those updates were definitely a win in my mind. Yes, they were expensive as f*ck, but that was one time when I didn't necessarily mind spending so much money.

 

Not to beat any more dead horses, but I won't vote for any of the newer updates because of what they have done to the state of the game for me personally. Since Cunning Stunts, the races I spent more than a significant amount of time creating are now void and useless; that just grinds my gears like you cannot even imagine. I'm glad people enjoy the free roam inspired updates, but with all the bugs introduced and the fact that they're restricted to public servers just equate them being mostly useless for me. I do like some of the things they'e brought (such as the Office) and of course some interesting new vehicles, but I'm a bit jaded as of late with all of the current broken elements and bugs. Therefore, my love reaches back into the past as far as DLCs are concerned--I found the game far more playable and enjoyable then.

It has introduced a gamemode that I had a lot of fun playing with other players on mic as well as introducing the Savage, and even reuniting us with the Hydra despite the bad reputation it has now.

Cunning Stunts man. Nothing got this day one player back to playing every day more than Cunning Stunts. I impatiently waited through all the rumors and it was all I could think about. sh*ts so fun.

Bikers DLC is my favorite.I love most of the bikes, the customization for them is great, the biker clothes and gear looks badass, the clubhouse is a cool feature, the biker missions are fun to do, and I also like the weapons, ability to do melee attacks from bikes, the biker tattoos and the sixth property.

If only it had some more bikes from previous GTA games, more customization for old bikes, some more biker clothes (folded head bandanas, ability to combine face bandanas with custom hats and glasses, leather fingerless gloves, wallet chains...), some metalhead-style long hair and a proper beard,it would be IMO the perfect DLC,but even without it,I like it much more than any other DLC so far.

OT - I voted for:

 

1 - Executives & other criminals; it added criminal work to be played in free-roam, luxury cars with armoured variants and the yacht which so many on this forum said would never come lol

 

2 - Finance & Felony; by far my favourite update however it was poorly implemented (I feel we should have had more freedom of choice in choosing which contraband to trade, delivery vehicles etc.) but still the best update IMO as it added more criminal work to be done in free-roam, more luxury cars and the first player owned 'businesses/investments'

 

Bikers gets an honourable mention as I really like the concept but not the implementation, I dont see why CEOs cant just expand their empire with the newer businesses instead of having to retire and start a MC (never been much of a biker)

Lowriders also gets an honourable mention as its something that felt was missing however again rockstar failed with the implementation; they came too late in the game (most people were already living as bosses) they were overpriced and apart from the impromptu lowrider meets out side bennys there was never anything to do with them (no game modes i.e bounce competition) this did however bring peace to Los Santos for a week or two

 

Heists was probably my least favourite now that i look back. The heists themselves were disappointing to say the least, the fact that it added the kuruma, insurgent and hydra available for purchase for players to own means its the one that broke the game for me.

Definitely CEO/Bikers for me. Any update with new missions and mechanics that doesn't require R*'s god awful load screens is a damn good thing IMO. I still prefer bikers but I'm biased on that point as I was one of the first people to sign the petition for it. If it weren't for the awful scaling on sell missions they'd be damn near perfection. Really R*? 3 post op vans from Grapeseed/Paleto to downtown LS in 30 mins? You could easily fit all those packages in one van... But that's my only real gripe with it. Favorite bikes/formations was also a huge boon to make biker play a bit more balanced against people in their super cars and kurumas.

The latest dlc will always get votes more than it should, if you excluded bikers or gave it the same vote as the average dlcs we'd see a more long term accurate poll.

I voted for Bikers, It was actually the one I was least excited for but quickly became my favorite. I'm enjoying the resupply and selling missions, I'm not getting bored with them like I did with the CEO crate runs. I'm not a bike guy but I'm enjoying the new bikes and loving the 20 new garage slots.

 

The one I was most excited about like most people was Heists, but it turned into one of my least favorite. They were fun at first, but they got old pretty quick. I also dislike it since it was the update that released the Armored Kuruma and the Hydra.

Heists without a doubt. Most of the others are pretty niche.If all these rumours are correct on a Google search then the best one if it ever arrives will be the paid online map expansion . But for now heists will win this vote hands down imho

Going with Heists. Even though there have been some good other updates, the heists have already stood the test of time; loads of vehicles still used and people are still playing the heists.

 

Would give an honorable mention to the X-mas updates/tunables.....I just love it when Los Santos is covered in snow again.

But to be honest there isn't a dlc which i really dislike
