Then you should be in VCS PC Development team and try to remake just one model to see. Many buildings have almost twice more polys than VC box-like buildings.

Less repetitive textures in some cases too. The other fact is they are low res.

Just wtf people?

 

 

Talking about models however, there could be some improvements. Some vegetation models are still from VC, which are pretty unfitting with the other new vegetation models and HQ textures. Like the bushes in one of the pics above.

What can I say, to each their own.

This is a mod that aims to keep the atmosphere from the original game, after all.

Why is there a HQ Palm then?

hey man this is cool the multiplayer test you did is also cool but wont you need to have the permision from the iv-mp devs if you planning into making vice city rage mp?

The IV:MP team hasn't been active for ages now, and the client itself is semi open-source, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Either way, I haven't completely decided whether I'm going to release it or not.

Fort Baxter can now be accessed without the game crashing 90% of the time.

So the cop cars...did you use templates? Because I'd love to get my hands on those cars, and make some sweet, sweet retextures.

 

EDIT: Got a feeling that you didn't. Would be nice if someone made them, though. Will you be working on the lights and dirt maps for the cars?

Are you referring to the police car model?If yes, then I'd be glad to give it to you.

As for the lights, they're already there.So are the dirt textures.

Some timecyc tweaks, HQ weapons and 10th anniversary HUD, which I think fits the mod perfectly but I could release the original HUD as an add-on.

I don't know - I'm only seeing a slight difference.

I'll be releasing the original Tommy and weapons as add-ons, though.

ok but make sure for original tommy be the ones from the cutscenes(he has HQ face) and the ps2 weapons(pc weapons are kinda odd)

Do note for these problems: I have installed it on a clean GTAIV with 1.0.7.0 For starter the game was loading indefinitely. After a restart, all objects were invisible except light lamps. Currently unplayable.

Check your graphics settings.

The mod files were tested on a clean copy of GTA IV 1.0.7.0 and they worked without any issues.
