Well except this is a video game lol IRL there is no honor in killing people or selling drugs.

Sure you can check your status after every kill and never actually end up in BS but most guys I know would probably say they are proud of the fact they made it to BS at least once.

Its all part of the GTA experience, something I am glad I did not miss out on.

I've spent a very long time there. It's basically the same as clean lobbies only more aggressive and nobody does jobs. That was my experience, ive made some friends did my time. Fingers crossed I never go back.

Still yet to get there, I really don't know how you guys do it! I think it's because I've been commended way to much, it's impossible for me to get there.

It's possible. The commends only stack so far (like to fifty good sport where a commend is worth two). I've received more commends than your average joe. I would beg for them, every fifteen minutes, from everybody in my party. They owed me for all the close air support they became so accustomed to. I payed a load in insurance over the years.

 

I guess my second, third and forth times in were a bit of a disappointment. I was fighting other try-hards and the report function must've been in play here. I learned my lesson. So, visits five through nine were done on alternate xbox profiles with full malice and intention. I haven't had a hankering to go back. Much of my play style has been adapted to the art of staying out of the BS lounge while still playing the game in the fashion I see fit.

on topic: the first time i went into bad sport was in 2014 and it was a horrible 2 days i expected the lobbies to be full, but they were empty and every time someone did join they went to fort Zancudo to grab a jet and tried to kill me.

That mirrors my experience, essentially the same but maybe 10% more aggressive. It's not like regular free roam is full of people bending over backwards to be friendly. It's fun to pretend that it's some kind of brutal Dark Souls style environment but it's the same old sh*t as usual but without the involvement of people on your friends list.

It was 2 years ago. I was in God mode policing the entire lobby for lulz. And while flying in a jet. I get this message about bad sport and immediately shoot out of my jet. I wasn't mad is was quite funny.

well in all fairness, going through the system is a badge of honor in the gang culture, it give you "street cred".

 

going to badsport have the same effect on us freeroam warriors, which is why you see people with the dunce cap saved in outfits and stuff like that.

First time in bad sport was when I played on Xbox 360 I blew up one too many cars. It was a war zone in the bad sport lobby! Tanks and helicopters and everywhere were soldiers on foot with rpgs shooting at each other

First time there, glitched out.

Well, if you stare at my avatar long enough, you'll see that I've been a regular in Bad Sport for years (been there four or five times), mainly for blowing up personal vehicles.

I've gotten better about my behavior and though i still blow up PVs, I avoid doing it extensively, just because I despise Bad Sport.

Basically, my first time was bad enough – it was the LAST time that really left an impression on me.

It was much like being forced into a Saturday School detention with the absolute worst of the worst players you could imagine.
Even if you find one other player who seems to be cool, they usually turn psychotic within a few minutes.

It's truly frightening when you realize just how many people playing this game can take it to such a twisted level.
I mean, it's a game... I think some of the people in Bad Sport don't actually ever stop playing. Ever.

Today was my 1st time in Bad Sport, and the experience was horrific.
Got put in a lobby with 5 degenerates, the worst trash talking I've seen in the game.
One of them was in god mode, but the report option isn't available when you're a bad sport, so there wasn't much I could do.

R* had changed the rules and made entering badsport almost impossible, it took me 3 months to earn my 2nd trip to badsport.

What are those rules, to be exact? Haven't played the game in 3 days, I log on today and after about 2 hours of gameplay I notice "time remaining as Bad Sport".
I almost never use a jet, 99% I fight on foot. Yes, I do RPG those who come at me with their cars or bikes. But in 1 year and a half of gameplay, I never got sent in Bad Sport.

Does anyone know the "requirements" to be a bad sport?

Does the game take into account the number of personal vehicles you destroyed in a single session, or over a certain period of time?

 

Or maybe the fcktards at R* reduced the number of PVs you need to destroy in order to be labelled bad sport?

It was on PS 3 and there were mostly modders terrorizing the lobby as usual. I only did my daily tasks and switched to my other account.
