Hi friends. I am really tired thinking about it. I need your opinions about it.

GTA IV Releases:

1) First on Xbox 360 & PS3.

2) Secondly on Microsoft Windows.

3) Thirdly on Xbox ONE, after 8 Years, but the backwards compatibility. This means you can use the Xbox 360 Version on Xbox ONE. There are no changes almost, but Xbox ONE Version gives 40/45 FPS while Xbox 360 gives 35/40 FPS.

4) Soon on PS4, after XONE Release.

EFLC Releases:

1) First on Xbox 360.

2) Second on PC & PS3.

3) 3rd on Xbox ONE.

Algonquin Assassin

I voted for 360 because I've only played it on console and between the 360 and PS3 versions the 360 version just looks cleaner and sharper to me.

Not quite as "blurry" and the character models look better for some reason. PC's obviously the pick of the bunch, but I'm only voting on what I've played.;)

Xbox One obviously :p

I voted for the 360 version. PC version isn't much better without mods.

PC is traditionnally the most powerful platform. thus you'll never find better than what you have on that platform

Joking aside (yea, PS4/Xone, yea yea haha), the PC crushes the consoles. With highest texture quality and decent resolution it's on par with much newer games and still holds up quite well today I think even just on technical merits. It's just a shame that the performance and optimization are so incredibly crap.

Out of the 2 consoles, X360 renders the game in a higher resolution so the PS3 is inferior. There are comparison videos on YT. This was the time when devs were still trying to figure out how to even code for the PS3.

PC, I've never played it, but I've seen enough evidence to support it...

the fu*k kind of question is this?

build a good mid-range PC that doesn't suck and it will always have graphics equivalent to or better than those sh*tty peasant yokel consoles.

ΔThat's exactly opposite from GTA III/VC/SA Cases.

PC, no contest. IV looks awfully pretty on 4K, too.

Granted, the port is garbage and the framerate is choppy - you can't the deny the fact that the game looks f*cking beautiful on PC, judging solely by graphics.

It's way ahead of its time.

PC no contest, even though the framerate and graphic glitches spoil it sometimes

I remember when GTA3 came out on pc most home PC's of the time struggled with it framerate could be choppy at times.

PS4. LOL. :D XD

Seriously, the PC Version has the best look of them all.

I'm about to find out soon, once I start modding IV on the PC, but that will be after my time with modded V, as I'm having so much fun right now with that. From what I can see, the ENB graphics enhancers make IV on PC look supreme, and I can't wait to see how it looks, so yeah I'd say PC.

As for consoles, I've not actually seen the 360 version believe it or not. The PS3 version (the one I had and played) was generally fine, but there were times it was as blurry as f*ck. It was bearable for most part, but the blurriness could have been reduced, however the PS3 version looked it's best at evening/night time, and when it was raining at night time.

For consoles, the Xbox 360 version has better graphics. I did a side-by-side comparison with a friend once and found that the Xbox 360 version of the game is sharper and runs smoother.

Overall, the PC version takes the cake (as long as your PC can run the game with high settings).

The X Box 360 plus it has a better framerate. Rockstar games from last gen just ran better on the 360.

I'd be inclined to agree with IV only. You're distorting the picture here by quite a large degree.

RDR ran equally fine on both the PS3 and 360, despite the lies spread on online media that PS3 version so clearly inferior (that I nearly believed before getting it on my PS3). In fact, I saw both versions side by side and I still personally preferred the PS3 version, not because it ran better, I just preferred it's look and palette. The reviews said both versions were fine too.

GTA V ran better on the PS3 than the 360, everyone knows this and generally accepts that.

This namely about IV being better on the 360 right ? Which I've agreed with (even though I've never seen it propryly being played on the 360 myself to compare). Even then the PS3 version was not that bad, it was good enough, it just had too much blurriness in some areas.

As for RDR ? They were both good, the attacks on the PS3 version was fanboy propaganda, I've seen both they are both good. As for V ? It was shown in media comparisons that the PS3 version was better.

But I don't care because I've got IV on the PC and I'm gonna mod the graphics with some sick-looking CryENB visuals that can even give V a run for it's money ;)

Recently played GTA 4 on XB-360.

Actually, what to say, you know you all play Modded GTA 4 on PCs. XB Version is definitely better if we conpare it with the original PC Graphics.

PC, but out of the two original console versions, the X360 has the better GPU so it does look better on the Xbox 360. That seemed to have turned around for GTA V though as it plays better on the PS3.

Edit:

Forgot to mention that because GTA IV is now 8 years old, you can play it on most modern integrated graphics just fine. For example, even the Intel HD 4000 can play it comfortably, and by integrated graphics standards, that's pretty crappy (vs. Radeon HD 8670D, Radeon R7, Iris Pro 5200, Iris Pro 6200, etc.)

I've marked one thing. The textures in the consoles versions are better but they can't handle the high draw distances like PC.

I have not played the PC version, yeah poor console peasant I am. All jokes aside between PS3, and the 360. The 360 in general looks sharper, and runs a bit better than the PS3. However, playing the BC Xbox 360 version of IV on the One was quite an impressive emulation. It mostly looked the same, there are some pop-ins, and minor FPS drops, but it is smoother and more stable than the 360 version. But I'll hold on judgement once I have reached Algonquin, especially the Star Junction area since most FPS drops, and issues usually plague that area.

I played IV back when the game was released on Xbox 360 and it looked really good, at least, the first impression of all the details and graphics .. wow'd me!

Later, I decided to buy EFLC for PC and the graphics didn't appeal to me as much as I hoped to see them over the Xbox version. Plus the technical issues on PC makes the game really a pain to continue playing with random crashes, fps drops and the amount of fiddling required to make it run properly. And so, the graphics are only a bit better on PC, while the performance issues stays. You really need a medium to high-end PC to run the sh*tty port, that is really not worth the trouble for graphics alone.

I'd go with Xbox 360 which looks not bad without the headache of dealing with installation and performance issues that still plague the PC version.

If we're talking strictly facts here, PC, turn off the blur filter, and downsample to add some AA, and you get a nice clean image of Liberty City. Out of the console versions, Xbox 360 runs better than the PS3, higher res but also higher blurring effect, so the PS3 version often tended to have a warmer look about it.

Texture wise, the PC version of IV has better textures, unless you set the quality lower, EFLC uses the same textures as Xbox 360/PS3 on PC for most of the map. Sound wise, PC > PS3 > Xbox 360.
