We need....the property cap removed.

I'll probably never understand how current garage space can't be enough for some people (60 cars and 10 bikes?)

I'd say we need more expensive properties instead.

"I can't believe people want to buy more than 60 of the 200+ vehicles ingame"

Seriously though, what the f*ck do you need 70 cars for? 140 if you have two characters.

I'm a car collector and no way could I use up all those slots.

Thing is im tired of switching characters.

Though i made one heck of a secondary...if i ever could drive all those vehicles without the need of extra loading screens that would be great

Oh, so there's been an update somewhere between now and saturday and we can have seven properties, eight with the clubhouse included?

Rockstar is on a roll.

Unless ofcourse that is not the case and your math is not adding up.

Anyway, as should be obvious from a ton of posts in this thread and MANY other threads made before, it's not about NEEDING anything.

Nobody (given a decent level of "skill" in the game) really needs more than maybe two garages tops. And even that would depend on what you're into. If you only play contact and heist missions, an armoured car is more than sufficient. If you only race a lot, the current best all-round vehicle in each category would do.

But this is about wanting, not needing. That's what collections are. There are many, MANY types of collections built up by people all over the world. Is any of that puzzling you as well? Personally I don't get the appeal of postage stamps myself. But cars I do find interesting. And with all the different looks and a number of different types of behaviours available to the vehicles in GTA:O, it's not weird at all that people like collecting them. Then ofcourse you can argue that one can simply keep changing the collection and get something back when you've tried something else, but people (generally speaking) prefer holding on to something instead of getting rid of it and later retrieving it again.

You call yourself a car collector and you very well may be one, but that's hardly an argument against larger collections. It's all up to preference. Some people just get a couple of vehicles. Others fill up the garage space Rockstar gives us and yet others look at the complete assortment of storable vehicles in the game and wish to have most or all of them. And seeing how this is a VIDEO GAME, that is not exactly too much to ask. Especially because, and let's make a short little list again..

-Owning most/all vehicles doesn't hurt other players.

-Building up such a large collection would keep some people playing longer.

-Building up such a large collection would also cause some people to buy more shark cards so they can afford them.

-This surely cannot be a very complicated or difficult thing for Rockstar to program.

There's not really any decent argument against this, at least not that I have read so far. And some responses I don't understand, I mean, why would you question this? Do people question everything that you like or want to do/have? I doubt it. It would make some sense if people were asking for things like large scale themed content updates to the game. Because if Rockstar were to go down that path, other things would inevitably take longer and not everyone wants to see the same things in game. I remember posting in the bikers DLC thread months ago, saying something along the lines of such a specific wish being silly because I thought there was already plenty of biker themed content in the game and surely there were other things Rockstar should be looking at first.

But increasing the number of properties players can have, removing the limit or doing something like simplifying the storage system (some have suggested/requested this before) to be a simple menu similar to what you can see in games like Saints Row, these are not crazy things for a game like this.

Mostly, I imagine that posts like yours are made because you make the assumption that people aren't grateful for what they're given.

To be fair to you, you can only go by the information you've got. And you don't always see the posts that actually thank a developer for what they've done. But make no mistake, a lot of people were happy every single time Rockstar increased the property cap, starting years ago.

Do not confuse wanting more with being unhappy with what is already present. Personally, I was thrilled to see the cap being increased to six, making my potential car collection across two characters as large as one hundred and twenty vehicles. With a bonus of up to twenty motorcycles.

Not 140 cars.

Not 140 cars.

That was very well put, personally I would love to own every car in the game. I'd have them nice and organized of course maybe by car manufacturer, or by racing class but it would definitely be cool to have the option to do so. Edited by SosaMann

Yes. I've said this before, and I say it again. One billion garages please.

No, an infinite number of garages.

I wish that I had the money to buy all 7 garages and enough money to fill them with vehicles too! :(

I'm just imagining people with 24 properties in this game.

Could you imagine calling the Mechanic and scrolling through the list of garages?

It would be worse than calling Pegasus and trying to find your Cuban!

But yeah, definitely dump the cap and let us buy it if we want it.

And as far as "Finding the Wi Fi," if you figure it out, please let us know. :)

Now, I think I know the reason why R* isn't just giving us unlimited garages.

Think about it, would you be more willing to return to the game if they just gave you some new content, or if they gave you an extra garage as well.

Basically they're doing this to make the collectors and other such people with full garages come back every time they give us a new garage.

My name is listed on the photo from the original post; I'm famous! ;)

One simply cannot have enough space to store vehicles; I thought that I would have enough with the 6th, but I'm already two short of being at max capacity again. The struggle here is real, and I spend far more GTA money on vehicles than anything else in the game combined.

I'd be happy with just renting out some space in a parking lot behind one of the numerous buildings within the game; I don't need an actual apartment, but those beach houses would surely be nice! Add any property near the water with ten+ spaces and I'll gladly buy them all without hesitation. However, it's already been mentioned, but I'd also like to see some properties that allow 20, maybe 30 or more spaces. It would make things so much easier in terms of organisation.

 Nice bookmarks.

Agree though. I'd like to see the cap be removed. There's people out there that have "Best in Class" for racing then personal use and still don't have enough space for cars/bikes they still want to own.

Happy Pegging! Lol Situational Awareness for the win

Unlimited property slots is on top of my wishlist. Not because I need all that garage space, but because there are so many cool houses I'd like to own. Some of them I've always wanted to purchase are that little garage on the west coast in front of the ocean(the sunset view must be amazing) and the house at the marina. I'd probably own most of the properties in the game.

No Use For A Name

I care way more about the property cap than the vehicle cap. If I'm limited to 60 cars, fine with me. But lift the property cap. I'd love to have a dozen properties, including 2-car garages, spread throughout LS

Just because you don't want/can't figure out what to do with more space doesn't mean others can't. I'm all for getting rid of the property cap. Once I've got enough space for the vehicles I want (and more cool vehicles get added all the time), then I'll quit buying properties. I've no need to buy every house/apt/garage on the map, but let me buy what I feel are enough.

After filling a 6th garage, this is the first time in the game that I truly have every car I want.

You guys can never be happy, uh... How come someone fulfill 6 10 car garages? Even if you assume one of them is the 6 spot one for Pac St and the other is the bike-only clubhouse, that's still a lot of cars... Wouldn't the question be instead, do you guys really need all those vehicles?

i've thought this since PS3

1. properties should've never been capped! they should've always been tethered to the vehicle cap. so you can have X amount of properties until they add up to Y amount of vehicles!

2. the property list desperately needs a way to be organized, either custom set by user. or even a sorting option as highest property value to lowest, or geographically north to south.

I dont need videogames at all...but the limitation is so stupid i only can give 1 reason it exists: shark cards.

At least they should remove that cap before they implement the last update this game will ever have.

Prefferably sooner because i am not selling vehicles no more.
