We need....the property cap removed.

So, since we are now 2 weeks further, i think its time to make this kind of thread.

 

I chose this title instead of going for "we need a 7th property", because such a topic just opens the road to even more topics afterwards if we get the 7th property asking for just one extra property and just because i personally want the property cap removed anyhow(i already wanted this before we even got 4 properties).

 

So yea, since the 1 week period has passed, i am since yesterday completely out of garage space and i am still sitting on 40 milion GTA-$'s, i really could use that removal now.

 

 

edit: defense against people who want to lock this thread, i am kinda seeing it as necessary evil....a thread like this was gonna be made sooner or later i think.

Agree though. I'd like to see the cap be removed. There's people out there that have "Best in Class" for racing then personal use and still don't have enough space for cars/bikes they still want to own.

And then ther are those who aren't returning players, thus missing out on the Dukes, Blista Compact and Stallion.

 

Well, they did make the stock cars available to everyone in the CS update, and the returning players could get them for free while the new players had to pay for them.

 

Though, I guess them's the breaks. AS much as I'd want it, it would probably not be god to make the returning exclusive vehicles available to everyone.

Well you do often call for threads to be locked yourself But nah, that'd just be petty. And to be honest, someone has to step up, take the risk, and make threads. It's all very well redirecting people and calling for locks, but if no one makes anything then people would get pretty bored around here.

 

I agree anyway. I'm not out of room yet myself, but what's the point in repeating the same old cycle, and waiting ages until we get another?

 

Wouldn't it solve a whole lot of complaints if they just got rid of the cap, or gave us some kind of long-term storage solution (somewhere we can store hundreds of cars, perhaps)?

Maybe if they introduce an "upgrading the property" type of option that would solve the whole lot of problems,

like this_

2 Car Garages & Apartments can be upgraded to have a 6 Car Garages.

6 to have 10

and finally 10 to have 20.

This way 2 problems can be solved

first is that they don't have to add all different types of interiors, just use all the already available ones and just add 20 car garage.

second is that most people that want a 10 car garage in paletobay or shandy shores, their property will only be getting the garage upgrade and not a 10 car Garage w/ apartment upgrade as high-end apartment upgrade would add a heist room which is not possible as all the heists and setups are meant to be started from city. Maybe in future if R* decides to add some more heists(which doesn't seem possible) then it would be possible add an apartment upgrade that way.

My issue is having half of my collection on my second character, and it sometimes gets me down when I think "I'll get my <insert car here>" but I can't because it's on my second character. It's bad implementation, Rockstar, and pretty amateurish.

 

I think the 140 vehicle cap across both characters is more than enough TBH, but why restrict us to switching between two characters?

All my coupés, Enus posh cars, hipster cars, hot-rods and off-road trucks are on my second character, and I often want to call the mechanic and get them delivered. It's frustrating.

You are on to something here.

 

Offices, Clubs & Businesses showed Its feasible to have upgradable properties in the game.

 

 

They can have a modular design or two with block upgrades & customizations like the Offices & Clubs.

 

For an example... You can upgrade the garage capacity & add an in-house shop. Add a vault, gun locker, walk-in closet, Jacuzzi\hot tub, bar... Etc

 

If it happens, Rockstar can certainly do it with the next wave of houses (if there's any), but i doubt they'll retrofit fit the concept into existing properties.

Same here, I have all the cars I want with 17 spots & a club house left. But I wouldn't mind more properties as a collateral for any potential purchases from future dlcs.

 

As for the European classics, throw a W116 6.9 into that mix!

Eh, the real problem would be choosing cars from the mechanic, races and heists. The list would be comically long with the current sorting system.

 

Something like Forza's and GT's "favorite" tag would be required to make these less of a clusterf*ck with a lifted property cap.

I've still got one more property to purchase and even right now I still have like 15 spaces left, but I'm all for more properties. I don't understand why there is a limit in the first place. Just let people spend their money.
