Entire story of San Andreas could have happened in one real-life day

With the huge amount of things that happen throughout San Andreas, you probably couldn't think all of it could fit in 24 hours. But technically speaking, everything really could have happened in one real life day. Think about it: Along with the driving, it takes about 12 hours nonstop (

) to finish all missions of San Andreas. Let's assume that CJ arrives in LS at 4AM (certain LS missions can only be done before 6:00), and ignore the few missions like Black Project which could only be triggered after 20:00/8PM. CJ would be done with everything by ~4PM (or maybe 12AM if he waited for Black Project)

I know it seems completely out of proportion that Tenpenny and Pulaski would be killed on the same day they arrested CJ, and Big Smoke and Ryder would be killed on the same day they 'reunited' with CJ. But it is technically possible.

I do not see it.

Try laying out a Time Line to prove it.

I find it also very hard to believe the story-happening-in-one-day theory because night time only missions are scattered into different places of story line!

You're forgetting the flying school, dating Mllie to get the key card and taking over the required territories needed to finish the story mode. Those three are ones that take up the most time.

well hey the security guy does say pilots are looking younger ;)

but yeah op, no. youre telling me cj can come home, be hassled by the police, reunite with his family, restore the gang to power, shoot up the ballas, find out ryder/smoke are bad, get dumped in the country, work for CRASH, work for catalina, work for the truth, wis some races, move to SF, fix up a garage, break into area 69, destroy a drug syndicate, rescue some vietnamese slaves, meet toreno in the desert, work for toreno, board an aeroplane on a bike and parachute out, fly BACK to liberty, rob a casino, save Madd Dogg, kill pulaski, steal a fighter jet, destroy spy ships, go back to LS, take over LS AGAIN during a riot, break into a drug fortress and kill smoke, chase a firetruck around LS and watch Tenpenny die all in the space of a day? yeah no i think the jetlag alone would wipe him out.

CJ gets arrested by Tenpenny at 4AM, spends about 2 hours doing stuff with his homies, spends 45 minutes acquiring territories, and gets busted by CRASH at 7AM. After doing jobs with Catalina he meets with Wu Zi Mu at 8AM. He kills Jizzy, T-Bone and Ryder by 11AM. At 12PM he meets with Toreno. He spends a couple hours on doing various missions for Toreno, Mafia and Tenpenny, before killing Pulaski. By 3PM, Carl has done all the desert and Venturas missions and Sweet is released from prison. After Carl helps Sweet with the gang, the LS riots start at 4PM. Smoke and Tenpenny are killed before 5PM.

Flying school takes only 20-30 minutes, you can kill Millie and taking over 35% of territories shouldn't take more than an hour. Edited by VOIDACID8000

You have forgotten the Game is in compressed (game time) no real time.

The mixing of RT to do the missions with GT is mathematically inconsistent.

Without jumping to conclusions, it's a safe assumption that Las Venturas is Las Vegas. SSV draws many similarities to New Jersey, Staunton is similar to Manhattan, New York and Portland is similar to more industrial areas of NY ie Brooklyn/Queens. According to Google, "La Guardia is the closest airport, but there is no train (cabs are cheap). There is also JFK. EWR and JFK are about the same distance to midtown Manhattan. LGA is closest to the city.". We see CJ pull up in a cab, so I'll give OP the benefit of the doubt and say he landed at La Guardia. According to Skyscanner.com, the quickest flight from LV to NY would be 6 hours and 46 minutes. However, this is a commercial flight (Airbus A320 according to current flight logs) and CJ flies a Dodo which is based upon a Cessna 150 or a 152. The average flight cruise speed of an Airbus A320 is 858KMH but I don't do km/h so that's 533.136MPH so I'll round it down to 533MPH. The average flight cruise speed of a Cessna 150 is 196KMH/121.789MPH so I'll call that 122MPH. According to a Google search, "The flight distance from La Guardia Airport (LGA) to McCarran International Airport (LAS) is 2239 miles (3604 kilometers, 1946 nautical miles)" I'm not f*cking with nautical or kilometers so lets say 2239 miles.

Now, we already know the speed/time for our commercial Airbus A320 flight: 533MPH at 6 hours and 46 minutes. Now we need to calculate the time for the Cessna 150 aka CJ's flight: to find the time we simply share the distance by the speed; 2239 miles divided by 122MPH = 18:21:8.85. I'm not f*cking with fractions so let's say 18 hours and 21 minutes. It would take CJ 18 hours and 21 minutes to fly from LV to LC, and with making that a return journey (another 18 hours and 21 minutes), coupled with checking in and out of an airport at both ends (lets say an hour both ways), his taxi journey from the airport (taxi from La Guardia to Queens is roughly 12 minutes so 24 minutes) plus another 10 minutes for actually shooting up the bistro, we come out with a grand total of 39 hours and 16 minutes, so in short no, the entire story of San Andreas could not have happened in one day and you're a f*cking retard. Good day sir.

If you can get the Liberty City to Los Santos miles traveled stat from GTA IV and average the mix-max of it, you'll get a better idea of the distance between LC and LS.

Excuse me? It only takes one f*cking minute to fly from Las Venturas Airport to the San Fierro Airport (just did it myself) using the Shamal, the plane CJ uses on that mission. Try it yourself if you don't believe me. San Francisco and Las Vegas are 556 miles apart in real life while Las Vegas and New York are 2544 miles apart, meaning that using the scale of San Andreas, it would take about 5 minutes to fly to LC. So no, you can't just assume that Liberty City would really be that far from Las Venturas. Edited by VOIDACID8000

I could see Vice City being done in a few days which is badass now that I think about it. Just a a few days and Tommy would have taken over Vice City, Very Impressive.
