locknload5614
I can't seem to quote anyone's posts. Operator error or do I need to satisfy a forum requirement first. Edited October 28, 2016 by locknloa5614
RedDagger
Are you using internet explorer? If so, you should try another browser since IE is kinda outdated and doesn't work properly - Chrome, Firefox are fine and I think Edge works as well. locknload5614
locknload5614
Yeah, I'm so old I still use IE. Thanks.
Original Light
It's the punishment for using Internet Explorer. Seriously though, I just tested quotations on Internet Explorer and it seems to work for me. If I were you, I'd try using Chrome, it's what I use. Firefox is also good from what I hear. locknload5614
locknload5614
I just signed in with chrome and the quote button isn't even there. Interwebz does suck here at work tho... Edit: I had to go back to IE just to write this post. No reply or quote buttons with chrome. Edited October 28, 2016 by locknloa5614

Forza Harrd
I searched this thread because I'm having quote and copy and paste issues here with Firefox. Just wanted to know if there is an optimum browser. I can quote, and I can use spoiler tags, but if I delete unnecessary portions of a long quote train it still leaves the boxes, if that makes any sense. It deletes the text but leaves quote boxes for everyone who had commented in the quote train. And pasting only works in certain circumstances. I can't really participate in elimination games because half the time I can't copy and paste the choices. This is on both of my Windows 10 laptops using Firefox. So Chrome is the way to go? Solution uNi Posted November 20, 2016 Solution Share Posted November 20, 2016 It works just fine in the latest versions of Edge, FF and Chrome, make sure it's updated.
Forza Harrd
It works just fine in the latest versions of Edge, FF and Chrome, make sure it's updated. Hm. I don't what my problem is from then. I just had a clean install done on this laptop with updated new everything and it still does the same thing here (the work was done because it was corrupted and wouldn't take the new big 10 Cortana update). Another thing I have going on is when I make a comment, I hit post and nothing happens. So a moment later I hit post again and get the popup "your comment was made too soon" (or something like that), then I hit refresh to see the page with my comment or reply. And that's my normal procedure for commenting here. I'll give Chrome a shot but I hate to change browsers just for one forum.
