LCC Sanctus - Really Rockstar? Really!

There's so many wrong things in this comment that I'm barely holding myself from banging my head on the wall.

 

 

You can really spot the poor players in here from a mile away.

For the last time, the problem isn't if we can't afford it (most of us are multi-millionaires, so that's debunked), the problem is that there's a reskinned Avarus fitted with a skull and red headlights for literally the same price as a goddamn Osiris and ETR1 and Savage. Why the f*ck is a custom chopper as expensive as an actual armed helicopter?

 

The Sanctus is unique, with its coloured headlights, skull and cage. It's a vehicle everyone desperately wants, so they give it a high price.

It's just literally just that, a skeleton bodied Avarus with recycled modification options with a 1.8 million dollar difference from a stock Avarus, there's virtually zero value when it comes to this bike. The uniqueness isn't valuable, it's just a single basic gimmick that wears off instantly.

 

This means only a small amount can acquire it and show it off. A unique vehicle for an elite group.

Oh, there's a club for smug moneywasters who are bound to sell this bike in a week or so? Thank God I'm not associated with that elite club of dumbasses.

 

The price is right

I wouldn't bother, he's just trying to wind people up. One of those players that thinks he's Billy Big Bollocks because he's got some pretend money to play with.

Look at Zentorno. It is one of cheapest supercars with impressive performance. Therefore it is almost everywhere. Wondering how many Zentorno would be seen if it had price of... hmm 1.8 mil. I guess almost none.

 

If Sanctus cost more or less around 500 000 You would see them all around in every biker club. Don't You think seeing same vehicle all the time over and over is bit boring?

High price makes it less popular. Thats the point.

Personally I quite like it, and I don't really see a problem with having the rare overpriced vehicle here and there. I've only been playing since mid-September, and most of that time I've just been saving up money for Halloween. I really like Halloween-esque vehicles, and motorcycles, so this was right up my alley. I haven't bought an aircraft, helicopter, yacht, or supercar. It's nice having something that's more up my alley to throw a load of money at(all grinded for btw), that wouldn't be worth it to other people. That said, is it way too pricey for someone with average interest? Yes.

general consensus is that it's part of the Biker DLC, so yes, it stays. But i secretly hope it's limited, just to catch out all the bargain hunters waiting for the Sanctus to be discounted. R* is too addicted to to sharkcards, so I doubt we'll ever get limited edition content for GTAO

No amount of high price will stop the flood. R* knows that when they increase the price the shortcut players will just glitch PAC Standard and the slaves to the system will work for their supper.

 

I think it's funny that this discussion wouldn't exist if we got the bike and it was crazy fast and spit flame smoke. All it had to do is perform. Drifting isn't performance.

 

I think the lesson learned here is R* has trained us, dare I say conditioned, to accept this way of thinking. Some even justify the simple logic that theirs eyes see. It's as extreme as people saying they got it just for the shirt...

 

Trust me, this bike won't be exclusive, the price won't change the distribution. It will sell some cash cards. It will disappoint in a week. It will disappear. What is worse of all that is there are players who won't play the game because of the mindset it is associated with it.

 

Maybe it's just me, but for them to make a couple of bucks while promoting more glitches and moders who will ruin the game and just make more trouble for all of us is insanity. The good players see it and just leave back to another "fun" game.

 

You can say it's just a piece of digital property or say we're taking this too far, but we've seen our good player friends stop playing and that's not just a piece of property, that's the future of our fun for R* moment of greed. That's just sad.

There's a part of me that agrees with the 'uniqueness' of this bike, and owning it as an act of indulgence. I kind of like that... but there's the other side who's not dim enough to pay 2 M for a rack of ribs..

I don't know... it's not for lack of cash, but a part of me that doesn't want to be duped by Rockstar and feel like a giant tit as soon as I leave the clubhouse.

There's something to be said for that.

 

It may go on sale in the future (nearly everything after 8 months has); or perhaps people are reading that it's "Part of the Bikers Update" too literal and forget it's from the same company that released "*Insert Tug description*" and it could be limited like the Lurcher/Frankenstange

I purchase bike for pictures, snap pictures, sold the bike and moved on all in 32 minutes.

Unless it breaks its class, and then its price isn't the issue as much as it being notably better will be.

I'd also lower that number to $1,000,000 or less.

I didn't buy the Sanctus.While I can afford it and have a free garage spot,I don't want it since it's just a souped up Avarus with some optional bones and spider web and a permanent skull fairing.

I am a little disappointed that R* just recycled Avarus and put some tacky custom parts on it,instead of making some normal looking unique bike or returning another old bike from previous games (I wouldn't even mind paying a lot of money for something like GTA 4 Freeway, TLAD Angel...).Similar with Rat Bike/Online version of Wolfsbane,I would prefer if the Rat Bike's rust was an optional livery that can be removed to turn it into a clean version (new Wolfsbane),and the old TLAD version of Wolfsbane was returned.
