So does anyone like the bike? I painted mine wine red with the patina flame livery. Secondary pure gold to get that skeletal rib cage and skull all shiny. Surprisingly nice looking!

I get the price is extravagant and out of reach for many. Trust me, I know.

Why do we have to trust you when everyone on this forum knows the price is out of reach for some?

Basically the Ocelot Lynx of motorcycles.

I'll buy the bike then sell it as soon I got the shirt. I'll recoup my losses woth heists, then buy the other two cars I missed out on.

A $595,000 shirt.

On the other hand, buying Liberty City Stories for Android/iOS for $4.99 just to get the "I heart LC" shirt is arguably more ridiculous.

True, true.

It looks good on my swimwear outfit though. Oh well, the mobile game was alright anyway.

It's a horrible price, but what can you do?

  • Spend the money and buy it
  • Save the money and don't
It's people posting like they think there should be a third option.

I don't mind people protesting to Rockstar that's the bike is overly expensive, but saying that here doesn't help. They get as much accomplished by scribbling that on a Post-it and tossing it in the ocean.

But see if he did that he wouldn't be able to spam his yt link in his sig. ;)

One of the reasons why I turned off everyone's sigs

I know my sig is kind of annoying but it helps me find my comment on a page. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyways I do agree with OP, the bike is ridiculously overpriced. But I think the T20 is overpriced. The only vehicle in my book worth over a mil is the Buzzard (I wish I could sell my POS Hydra).

You pathetic asses who are saying "Dont want it blah blah" and especially the turd sandwich on page one going on about "should have known the price" are the reason the game is half empty now. Seriously, you silly scrubs are a joke to any sensible society. of course you have no issue with the costs, you are either a cheater who hasnt been caught or have such an insignificant real life, earning 2 mill for a fake motorcycle is no big deal. Ether way you are an idiot if you think this is a reasonable cost for such a crappy and lets face it, insignificant virtual item.

What makes me laugh a little is how fast R* proved that any semblance of "balance" in the games economy, is purely one sided. I mean really? 2 mill for this? Its just a good thing for Cock* they have enough sheep (like many of you) who cant wait to get on your knees and swallow a big ol fat load for em....LMAO most of you even pay for it!!

Haven't played since Dark Souls 3 came out.

Saw the post on facebook about the new Halloween vehicle and I thought I'd get on and play for a while just for that.

Get on here and see it's 2 mil for a sh*t bike.

Ain't got time fo dat sh*t.

Now I remember why I quit playing.

This game was seriously the most fun in the billionaire days...

Oh well, guess it's going to keep collecting dust.

I love the Sanctus' look, and I even got one, but here are my [reasonable] complains:

- The price. 2 million for a bike? A bike? All of the reasons as to why it isn't worth that are in this list.

- The turning. It acts like one of the NPCs' cars. Especially as soon as you start it, it takes like 3 seconds to fully start. And, when you are just turning in general. It won't turn as well as a lot of the sport cars that are the same price.

- The braking. It doesn't suddenly stop like it should. Whenever I try to stop to avoid crashing into a car, I end up crashing anyway because it takes 25 years to suddenly stop and I fly off the damn bike.

- Not being limited edition. If it was only available during the Halloween Surprise, I'd say that it's worth the price of 2 mil. Or at least somewhat worth the price. It's more fitting for Halloween anyways.

I have it fully modded and I still didn't see much of a difference. Hell, My Akuma was 9,000 dollars and it steers better than this. I love the look of it, hell I'm in love with it, but the problems pretty much just excuse that. Fix it Rockstar. Goddamn it.

lol, it's true. Personally I do love the way the bike (Avarus) slides around corners at speed if you stand on the ebrake tho.

Not really, you are (over) paying for the unique style, as chopper style bike, nobody was expecting it to be the fastest Motorcycle.

The Lynx, on the other hand, should've been the fastest Sports Car, a mile.

Edit: Now if the Tron bike (Shotaro) isn't the new fastest bike, it could be compared to the Lynx.

I do think that a sort of ghost rider looking bike should be a bit exclusive as it's a pretty unique design within the game, but why did they make it so slow? It just makes no sense. You'd think they'd wanna put in things that people actually want to buy so people would wanna buy their shark cards too. And why do they not re-balance any of this stuff after the community complains about it? It just boggles my mind. This game could be so much better if they didn't constantly make these sh*tty decisions.

Agree with you completely OP, thing is, even if it was 1mil and had handling as good as the Zombie Chopper or Western Daemon 2 I would be absolutely fine. Price tag I was expecting so much more from the performance. Instead I got a constantly flat back tire on an underpowered bike.

Also, f*ck if I was paying for "uniqueness", just because Rockstar don't usually add custom body kits on event cars, vehicles, etc. Then it doesn't mean I need to spend 2mil on the only one which is.

Either way. I'm not truly mad about this bike. I just think it's really unfair on people like me and plenty more who cannot afford Shark Cards for this kind of thing so we put time and effort into this to buy it with a blind eye. This is exactly why we need a test drive feature for vehicles.

SpuceSpringsteen

When I first heard about this bike I was really excited about it. I purchased the Frankenstange and the Lurcher at their cool $500k price tag and had no regrets what-so-ever. Hell, I still drive and raced the Lurcher when I had it in my garage.

Now, this Sanctus comes out and it's $1,995,000! Really Rockstar? Half the speed of the Hak. Drag and twice the price? Honestly, the bike is useless. I could get an Avarus for way under that and it would look better down the road. I bet half the people that buy this thing will paint it chrome and drive around in free roams shooting people up for a day and it'll disappear a couple of hours later. It's so disappointing.

If ever there was a day that I wanted to agree with all the anti-shark card guys out there, it's today. This just shows the colors of what's going on with the swan song of GTA Online. Milk them for everything it's worth and then get out of Dodge.

The funny part is that there is a secret to this that would easily fix things. If the bike was $500,000 I wouldn't complain. I know that sounds crazy and it still would be a big pill to swallow, but I would've accepted that. A limited edition vehicle that looks cool and will go away. Sure, I understand. I'll take that $500k hit and call it an evening and no complaints just because I want to have access to it down the road. The problem here is that price tag and how insanely inflated it is.

Please, someone else tell me I'm not crazy and that you agree.

it's just a game!!

Yeah OP, you got a free shirt with the bike, now that's gotta be worth it! it was for me!

But seriously, the game has reached maturity. So what do you do with a product that has reached the end? You stick shinny bells and whistles on it and try and sell it for as much as you can, through what ever means possible.

Ever since heists, every DLC has been designed around taking your money, not giving you ways to make money - CEO/Biker DLC is a money drain for most, if you consider the amount of money you had to invest to get your business up and running, I doubt most have even made a profit yet.

R* is focused on milking as many sharkcards as they can. So you might think it's overpriced, but items are priced just outside of the reach of the average gamer's ability to grind for it, in the hope they'll just buy a sharkcard to top up there account and purchase the new item.

With R* now clearly focused on the micro-transaction business model, it does not bid well for Red Dead Redemption 2 online, that's for sure.

I'm very interested in how they run with Red Dead 2. I believe jacking the price over time plus lowering mission payouts etc wasn't really the pre release plan for GTAO but it happened that way and it worked out for Rockstar. Now with RD2.. will they go with a deliberate plan to emulate the evolution of GTAO, like.. will the first few DLC be cheap and then slowly jack the prices until it's borderline impossible for all but the most mentally unstable grinders to achieve.. Or will they start out right from the beginning with everything priced far far outside the ability to grind without months of effort.. I'm really curious as to which one they will adopt but make not mistake it'll be one of the other. For me.. I'll go in hard like a banshee and glitch the crap out of it early on before the character means anything to me. (Assuming they aren't going to insta console ban anyone who dupes a horse... in which case I just wont buy the game).

You can really spot the poor players in here from a mile away.

The Sanctus is unique, with its coloured headlights, skull and cage. It's a vehicle everyone desperately wants, so they give it a high price.

This means only a small amount can acquire it and show it off. A unique vehicle for an elite group.

The price is right

I don't get out in public lobbies much but in the past any vehicle around the 2 million price has had pretty much 100% uptake within an hour in public lobbies. Is the Sanctus not the same?. Is there really less money around these days?. Granted this is no Osiris or T20.. in performance or value.

This "turd sandwich" thinks the bike is absolutely fine with the many ways you could of made money up to the bike being released and knowing the price you knew how much to actually make. Plenty of glitches have been about to make QUICK money and now plenty of other ways to make money. If none of that stuff is good enough for you to make money then leave the bike and move on with your life.

oh and if none of that interests you.. SHARK CARDS. Yes, I mentioned it. The holy grail of "f*ck you wockstar" if you guys don't have time to play a game like this and make money, buy the damn money instead. Moaning on here won't do sh*t, maybe a rockstar ticket will?

I know this opinion goes down like sh*te on this forum and a lot of people are going to be pissed but hey, i'm not here to be liked, i'm here to voice my opinion.

one last thing, YOU HAD THE CHANCE TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE PRICE WEEKS AGO! WHY DIDN'T YOU COMPLAIN THEN?!

Yeah, i'm a bitch!!!!!!!

100% this! An hour after it was out, I joined in a random Pacific Standard Finale, guess what 4 vehicles were waiting on the street outside? Yep the Sanctus.

It's not that hard making money. In fact I say it's easier since they added the vip update. You only start seeing the return if you play enough and spend wisely. The wharehouses might be costly and filling them up time consuming but you'll see the return in hours or days. And biker business you can make 1.5 million every 5-6 hours, however depending where you buy them at, it'll take longer to see the return. Especially if you brought then all in the city.

And the prize for the most ridiculous post goes to...

It's not about the monetary sum but what you're getting for the monetary sum...I've no problem grinding for the new Hypercars as they're far more useful and genuinely unique in terms of bodystyle etc.

I've had 34m legit and I now have 2m and have finally come back to the game for the 6th garage...grinded for the 77b and proto and a few of the other new vehicles so far...the thing with this game is I can do it where I attain everything but I can't play ANY OTHER GAME while doing it! (I own every vehicle aside from the new ones across 4 characters)

I have 140 million. It's still too much. It's an Avarus with a f*cking skull on it.

Good thing I just got it for free from creator mode. f*ck this Rockstar pricing nonsense.

There's so many wrong things in this comment that I'm barely holding myself from banging my head on the wall.

You can really spot the poor players in here from a mile away.

For the last time, the problem isn't if we can't afford it (most of us are multi-millionaires, so that's debunked), the problem is that there's a reskinned Avarus fitted with a skull and red headlights for literally the same price as a goddamn Osiris and ETR1 and Savage. Why the f*ck is a custom chopper as expensive as an actual armed helicopter?

The Sanctus is unique, with its coloured headlights, skull and cage. It's a vehicle everyone desperately wants, so they give it a high price.

It's just literally just that, a skeleton bodied Avarus with recycled modification options with a 1.8 million dollar difference from a stock Avarus, there's virtually zero value when it comes to this bike. The uniqueness isn't valuable, it's just a single basic gimmick that wears off instantly.

This means only a small amount can acquire it and show it off. A unique vehicle for an elite group.

Oh, there's a club for smug moneywasters who are bound to sell this bike in a week or so? Thank God I'm not associated with that elite club of dumbasses.

The price is right
