If you're using the Chimera you should have renamed the crew The Flat Tires

IMHO, i think its worth the 2m. whats 2 mil really? 1 warehouse? 6 MC sells? you make that in 2 days. sure prices went up but so did our potential of making money.

(i understand not everyone owns offices and businesses, but perhaps the coolest and most expensive bike in the game to date is meant to be driven mostly by those who do? imagine a noob having all the maxed out gear in an mmo, or becoming pro level noscope rapist sniper within a day of playing an fps)

 

This bike, besides the fact that it is a skeleton with wheels, shines red, and DRIFTS, can pull of amazing jumps, wheelie it into almost anything and profit. ive been on more rooftops in one day with this bike than on all my bikes combined. It's fun, unique and straight up sexy, worth the price.

Who's being ripped off? Nobody is forced to buy anything. You don't need, or have a right to, anything new R* releases. Why do you need the bike right now? There's literally 20 other bikes. Why not wait, play for a week or two to make some $ then buy it? There is no logic to your complaint about item pricing. The point is to have a goal and a way to achieve it. Not, have everything right away and then bitch about it or beg for more.

You mean like the Lynx, CEO-update aircraft, drag bike and some other recent releases? I don't buy 'em.

Rockstar puts them on sale and I still don't buy them.

Maybe enough other people do as well and Rockstar sees a pattern and lowers the prices... or more people money-glitch instead

I'd like to think so but all I'm seeing is an alarming unjustified over inflation of prices. The Lynx is the perfect example, it's not really any 'better' than the free F620 but because it's new they charged a beyond ridiculous price for it and people still found a way to justify it. At least with the Hak Drag there's a tangible benefit to it which is that it's the current fastest land vehicle, that's something worth paying for even if it is very expensive.

 

I don't buy stuff that I think is overpriced and that I don't need but I don't see why that means that I shouldn't care about it. This series isn't going away and if we accept their greed as being fine then it doesn't bode well for the future.

So does anyone like the bike? I painted mine wine red with the patina flame livery. Secondary pure gold to get that skeletal rib cage and skull all shiny. Surprisingly nice looking!

It's alright, it's a novelty that people will like until a couple of days after Halloween when it will barely ever get ridden apart from by skull fetishists.

1. Spend the money and buy it
2. Save the money and don't

It's people posting like they think there should be a third option.

I don't mind people protesting to Rockstar that's the bike is overly expensive, but saying that here doesn't help. They get as much accomplished by scribbling that on a Post-it and tossing it in the ocean.

Before the latest money glitch I've done my fair share of grinding and so understand your perspective. Legitimate players are f*cked with these prices. From my pov grinding your ass off to keep up with the inflation is an endless drag and you're better off profiting from some duping when you can.

Typical gta forums discussion. Some guy starts a thread with his opinion about something in the game to see if other people agree, and half the responses are people telling him why they think he shouldnt have posted it in their forum.

 

Anyway yeah man, i agree that the price is ridiculous. It is just the latest in a steadily increasing trend though. I predict that a few more dlc updates from now, every vehicle released will cost at least an 8 figure sum, and they will slowly release every vehicle over a six month period even though they only have like a dozen vehicles to release.

$2million for an average bike is kinda ridiculous, but at the same time I kinda like it. In a way it rewards those that have done things other than PVP Wars, and saved a nice bankroll. Of course that's easier said when my bank is over 35million, and nothing else I want to spend it on currently. But since Heists came out, making money is pretty easy. I got to almost $50 million thanks to CEO work before blowing some of it on the last Biker Update. Anyone that really wants the bike should have no trouble with a weeks worth of work.

With the almost two million dollar price tag and it most likely only being available for a limited time this bike has the potential to be one of the rarest vehicles in the game and definitely will be the rarest motorcycle. The price point is high but I don't think it's as ridiculous as some people are making it seem.

 

The bikers update overall has been one of the most reasonable updates in a while considering you can get a club house for around 200k and compared to what people were expecting that is a steal. The businesses also aren't really that expensive if you don't get all the updates for them and don't take all that long to turn a profit and since you have the option to steal supplies rather than always having to buy them the initial investment of around a million dollars isn't bad especially when compared to the CEO update. The bikes themselves are also cheaper than I thought they would be except the drag bike and eventually the tron bike but those two are going to be the two fastest land vehicles in the game and compared to the fastest super cars the prices are on par.

 

The only thing in this update that I think is overly priced is the tron bike but again two million for the fastest land vehicle isn't really that bad. The Sanctus is expensive but it's also a novelty item and since it isn't the fastest in it's class nobody has to have one so the people who buy it do it because they like it or they buy it to brag about owning such a rare item in six months.
