121 days spent in GTA online.

272 million overall income, every penny legit.

I quit worrying about price tags a long time ago.

I've told the world how to do it. I've made videos and still everyone is broke. They'll never understand.

I hate the price of the Sanctus. But I feel that as part of the grim reaper wannabe community, I must own it.

R* wants you to save a LOT of money and never spend on a single penny other than snacks and ammo until the time is right. I know I have, and have $4.5 million so far and still gonna keep on earning more until I can get at least $10 million or more.

R* are all about selling cash cards. They think their consumers are idiot suckers and will gladly fork out for a shark card so they can buy a 2 million dollar bike because it has a skull on it. And the sad thing is, they might be right.

I personally really think this thread serves no purpose.

Should Rockstar be playing with people's emotions like this? The Sanctus is obviously over-priced, but such a MUST have vehicle for many who can't afford it.

Let's not forget that R* has given the poor PLENTY, I mean, PLENTY of chances to earn money without having to buy $3M businesses. I am a multi-millionaire and I have made like $500K from the Slipstream Double-Cash that I played sparingly, not even grinding it. Unless you bought the game this past Monday, there is no excuse if you are not putting in the time.

Say I didn't have all this money, as soon as I found out the leaked pricing of the Sanctus, making double the cost would have been my only goal.

It's a horrible price, but what can you do?

  1. Spend the money and buy it
  2. Save the money and don't

It's people posting like they think there should be a third option.

I don't mind people protesting to Rockstar that's the bike is overly expensive, but saying that here doesn't help. They get as much accomplished by scribbling that on a Post-it and tossing it in the ocean.

Nice to get acquainted and thanks for your intelligent and well-reasoned responses. No one's getting hysterical here.

The price is rather silly, so if you don't like the Sanctus vote with your middle finger .I.. ..I. and don't buy it :)

I would LOVE to be able to host a car and bike show once a week and have real players be able to have some fun instead of hearing, "I can't play because I have to do this CEO stuff so I can buy that bike." They'll beg me to play because nobody else will play with them because the pay-offs are junk and a week later they'll have given up on it because they can't find empty public lobbies. That's like saying, "is there a way to isolate myself from the playing population and learn to hate this game?"

You leave work and play GTA online and it's like being back at work, grinding for virtual cash instead of real cash.

Don't bother sending out invites, too busy hauling crates or hoarding dupes... it never stops - the endless GTA $$ grind.

A $595,000 shirt.

On the other hand, buying Liberty City Stories for Android/iOS for $4.99 just to get the "I heart LC" shirt is arguably more ridiculous.

At the end of the day OP, you had the chance to figure out the price weeks ago and you didn't.

Come on, man, stop rubbing him up the wrong way.

You're on the Sanctus appreciation thread, you're a buyer, a jump-in-with-both-feet-first sort of person, and everything about this bike is great to you, but not to the OP.

OK, he should have been ready for the price, but he's still voicing a valid opinion, and just like the appreciation thread, when people go there and start saying anything horrible about the Sanctus the whole community gives them a hard time, as you're trying to do on this thread, except this isn't your thread, it's his. So let him have his opinion.

Spot on. OP minded his business and stated his own opinion in his own thread, you can't call him names or be aggressive towards him for having an opinion opposing to yours because it is not in bothering you in the thread you can express your gratitude of this bike.

So... GTA Online has been out over three years, OP has been here nearly three years, yet, he's still bitching about ingame prices? You're still surprised that potential limited-time content would be made available, even though THEY ANNOUNCED IT EARLIER THIS WEEK?? C'mon man... Stevie Wonder saw this coming.

I'm curious, do some of you that constantly whine about prices, whine about not getting paid enough for missions, heists, CEO, MC, etc, etc, do you all act like this in real life, bitching about WalMart charging $1.50 for a bottle of pop? When you go out to dinner, do you look at the menu and complain to the waiter about the entrees costing too much for your liking? Do y'all go on Twitter and Facebook and post rants that are titled "Rock Lobster Tail - Really Red Lobster? Really!"

It's not even the cost, don't kid yourself. Beach Bum content was all free, cost ZERO GTA$... Yet, I recall people bitching that "everybody got everything." Rockstar can't win with some of you people regardless of what they do.

Here's the deal, it is what it is. Either buy the stuff or don't. If you've been here throughout the entire duration of GTA Online, you really should know better by now.

On top if that, if you want the bike, you have 11 days (minimum, judging by it being named to "Bikers," it may be a permanent addition) to get it. $2 mil in 11 days is not an insurmountable feat. Hell, simply doing daily objectives during that timeframe will get you $350k. That means, you'd only need to make $150k per day during those 11 days to buy the bike. That's peanuts, if you want it.

Of course, if you don't, then don't buy the damn thing. If you don't want it, or think it's "overpriced," then the price shouldn't concern you regardless.

I swear, if some of you actually played the game as much as you bitch and complain about it, you wouldn't have to worry about what the prices on things are once they were released.

Here's what Broughy1322 has to say about the Sanctus:

Broughy's a cool type of racing guy, so biases his opinions on racing performance, but please make sure to check out the video if you've got doubts about the bike's performance. You're paying for a bunch of aesthetics in a nutshell...

EDIT:
And make sure to subscribe and watch his videos. He's not exactly Kwebbelkop for entertainment, but he deserves your support.

This right here...

That little fishtail burnout it does as you accelerate from a standstill is amazing, not to mention the unique exhaust backfire/smoke. I also think the price tag will keep it as a more exclusive bike for the time being, between the money wipe and casuals I can't see a large percentage of people buying it right away. Just the people that Really want the bike or just want it for the shirt and will sell it after because they have money to burn.

Plot Twist

OP got a money wipe and that's why he's butthurt about the price.

Feels good having over $100M, that way I never have to buy a shark card (haven't done so since 2014) and I hardly ever notice my balance changing when I buy things.

Don't think I've ever needed to worry or complain about a pricetag for a longggg time.

I haven't played GTA for at least a few months now. What's the best way to do it solo? I've just been grinding contact missions so far, wondering if there is another way. I haven't even touched the CEO/biker stuff yet.

Also, is this bike limited? Because the other two Halloween vehicles say it's part of the Halloween event, which I know are limited, but this one says part of the bikers DLC.

I wanted it at first but then I found out it was just a modified Avarus so nah. Ol' Benny could have this

I rather spend that money on a savage. A hardcore killing machine. Or a Valkyrie since it's on sale

It's a steep price for sure... But it's also something I earn in about one week by filling up one of my large warehouses... The handling is hard, but it's one of the coolest, not to say THE coolest, choppers in the game. And this time around I'm not talking about my beloved Helis...

We all know the reason for these rising pricetags, but it's these sharkcards that keep the game running. If you're willing to invest time, you can earn the cash ingame pretty fast too... But it boils down to more grinding. Some can take it, some can't... For some reason I enjoy it. It's 'hard' work, but when I can sell another warehouse or MC-product, I feel like I earned it and that also translates itself to the same feeling when I buy these expensive vehicles/items... I earned them...

And now I'm gearing up to fill another big warehouse, so I can obtain the Tron bike in a few weeks... That'll be two large warehouses, as I need one for each character... It's doable and I enjoy it...

It is what it is, but I understand your pain, OP... You just have to try to get over it.. I don't think the pricetags of future vehicles will ever deflate again... Rockstar is a company that needs to make a profit.. Thus the sharkcards, thus the higher pricetags... Still, I say it again, they give you the tools to get there by just playing the game...
