I tested the Sanctus in a few different ways compared to the Avarus

 

Wheelies seem to be the same, we could hold them just as high and long

Same speed apparently just as acceleration.

 

The Sanctus is able to powerslide if you press the handbrake.

Note, it was just a quick testing with a friend and I can be wrong.

 

It looks kind of cool but IMHO definitely not worth 1.9m for a skull, skeleton gas tank, spiderweb fenders and red headlights.

i'm totally fine with the price , it's a special item , and you pay mostly for the style, it's supposed to be not for everyone, and bitching about it is not gonna make them drop the price cuz you want it so bad.

The bike itself is great, and a vast improvement on the LCC Avarus, but Rockstar's pricing policy is the issue here, not the quality of the bike.

 

Rockstar have a tendency to push it too far... so much build up, Halloween, lot's of excitement... and BAM, that's 2 million dollars please. They're really devious like that, and that's what this thread is about, not the quality of the LCC Sanctus bike, which is mostly great.

 

Should Rockstar be playing with people's emotions like this? The Sanctus is obviously over-priced, but such a MUST have vehicle for many who can't afford it.

Yes, I'm ready with over $34 million I've earned legitimately so I'm not worried about it missing in a few days. I could buy it, but it's the sheer precedence of it!

 

That being said, I have friends who won't be able to purchase this bike. Not that they weren't ready, but that they were ready for one, then ready for another and now they're going to have to grind for a month to catch up. I know others here have to be in the same boat and I hope you guys sound off. Rockstar will limit their ability to grind in hopes that they'll buy a Shark Card and that'll just make the rest of us mad as it always does.

 

I think if we tell R*, look, we understand what you're doing. A $500,000 price tag would STILL be a Shark Card for them but it wouldn't just feel like they're milking the players so vigorously.

 

Also the typical GTA player is not watching videos and looking at these forums. Yes, these areas are astoundingly good resources to help players get together and get information and, as we all know, leaked information is leaked only until it comes out. It's NEVER 100%! So no, we can't react about Glen and Abraham dying until after they are dead and yes we can't bring them back either, but we can state our case here and make it loud enough to say, "what gives!"

 

The goal that I've been pushing over and over is to KEEP players playing this game and new players, who aren't here yet, that have no desire to play the game because of the grind never make it here. They never play. They never help our community and finally they never buy a cash card or push their friends to play and buy cash cards. That is a fail for R* no matter how you push it.

 

If we really love this game and want to see it succeed then we have to weigh in on this.

emotions ? for a digital bike ? it's a must have only if you are a "collector", it's the same thing as being a collector in real life, you need money, in order to get money (both gta and irl) you have 3 choices: work hard (get almost nothing) , spend money to make money (shark cards) , scam your country or other ppl (money drop, glitching) .

 

also, this is the only way for R* to earn money and keep making updates like this, selling shark cards; so no matter how much you can hate shark cards, but you must thanks all those people who actually spend real money to get useless digital items.

well, must have...since they brought out 750 k bikes with kers and golden aircraft, that is really debatable.

My issue is that I really don't like how it handles at all, I get that you can power slide with this bike but it really just feels like a trash truck on ice to me and usually ends poorly.

Exactly. That's why I said if it was $500,000 like that last Halloween cars I would've bought it because, heck, I have to.

 

It's not just this vehicle either. R* has done this before on other vehicles that don't live up to the price tag.

The thing with Shark cards is, people always realize they are being played sooner or later. A casual might spend real money once, twice or maybe even 3 times but having to get the overpriced hot new car/bike/property (that loses its steam a month later) after each new update is too much.

 

Well..Now I know why they haven't added gambling to the GTAO.

I don't feel bad for me either. I feel bad for all those players out there who literally grind themselves silly trying to buy a crappy bike and won't enjoy this game because of it and once they get it they'll be severely disappointed. Kids who will pay $20 for this bike only to sell it for 10% of its value a week later and complain on my mic that they don't have any money because they sold all their cars.

 

I would LOVE to be able to host a car and bike show once a week and have real players be able to have some fun instead of hearing, "I can't play because I have to do this CEO stuff so I can buy that bike." They'll beg me to play because nobody else will play with them because the pay-offs are junk and a week later they'll have given up on it because they can't find empty public lobbies. That's like saying, "is there a way to isolate myself from the playing population and learn to hate this game?"

 

Sure enough, when Gears, Battlefield, and Forza came out they were clambering to find a way for me to leave GTA and play those games instead because they don't have a $2 million bike problem. I want to play GTA and I want a communitee! Is that too much to ask?
