LCC Sanctus - Really Rockstar? Really!

When I first heard about this bike I was really excited about it. I purchased the Frankenstange and the Lurcher at their cool $500k price tag and had no regrets what-so-ever. Hell, I still drive and raced the Lurcher when I had it in my garage.

 

Now, this Sanctus comes out and it's $1,995,000! Really Rockstar? Half the speed of the Hak. Drag and twice the price? Honestly, the bike is useless. I could get an Avarus for way under that and it would look better down the road. I bet half the people that buy this thing will paint it chrome and drive around in free roams shooting people up for a day and it'll disappear a couple of hours later. It's so disappointing.

 

If ever there was a day that I wanted to agree with all the anti-shark card guys out there, it's today. This just shows the colors of what's going on with the swan song of GTA Online. Milk them for everything it's worth and then get out of Dodge.

 

The funny part is that there is a secret to this that would easily fix things. If the bike was $500,000 I wouldn't complain. I know that sounds crazy and it still would be a big pill to swallow, but I would've accepted that. A limited edition vehicle that looks cool and will go away. Sure, I understand. I'll take that $500k hit and call it an evening and no complaints just because I want to have access to it down the road. The problem here is that price tag and how insanely inflated it is.

 

Please, someone else tell me I'm not crazy and that you agree.

The bike really was into the [email protected] style I want my character to go into, and was really hoping for it to have a somewhat decent performance, but for such low specs, cutting on my already limited finances? I'll continue to proudly use my Innovation.

 

Still, great I can finally have the Lurcher and F Stange on my current character, still have them on my previous one but I never play with it. Love both of those cars though.

It's not a good price. At all. But it is what it is - prices have been getting steeper and steeper for a long time now.

 

Sure, it's a joke that a bike costs more than a Hind, but that's Rockstar for you (the Rockstar of today anyway). They love incredibly steep prices.

 

I'm more concerned about the empty sessions and disconnections. I'm going to check out and see if they're finally fixed (to as much of an extent that they ever will be),

I agree 100%! I didn't buy it. I didn't waste my money and then I started a thread to see how many others "agree" with that statement that they will not be buying it based on its cost.

 

Let's be honest, it's a very relevant question, but we don't know what your position is other than hiding your head in the sand as prices rise out of R*'s imagination.

My position is that I'm fine with this. If Rockstar wants to offer people vehicles that cost a lot but aren't that special in design or performance, all the more power to them. They're not forcing you to buy it, if you're a racing guy you don't have to spend two million dollars on it just to keep a competitive edge. It's just another way for Rockstar to make money because they know people will buy it because it looks different than other bikes. And they know people will be stupid enough to either spend all their hard earned cash or buy shark cards. It's just the way it is.

Hey OP.

No need to get defensive, and I see where you're coming from - it's a silly price for a new bike and people will get bored with it in a few days. And if you can't afford it, steer clear and don't fall into Rockstar's shark card / money-grinding trap just for a bike.

It's kind of cool looking though, sure, but if you pay to strip it down it looks exactly like the LCC Avarus with a skull at the front, but at 2 million for that privilege. The LCC Avarus is $116,000 btw.

It's got better performance though, can do wheelies, stoppies and is generally the best 'chopper' style bike in GTA online, but is it worth 1,995,000 million dollars? Only you can decide - this is still a 'hang back' purchase decision for me.

OK, he should have been ready for the price, but he's still voicing a valid opinion, and just like the appreciation thread, when people go there and start saying anything horrible about the Sanctus the whole community gives them a hard time, as you're trying to do on this thread, except this isn't your thread, it's his.
