Im afraid to say if I had a valid issue with R* I'd be ringing them directly to solve. Not trying to hide behind a post so you can't be quizzed. They deserve all they get for trying to fix by posting on a forum. If you got a customer service issue ring customer services not the automated bot crap lol

Seriously, there are double payout events, although as of recently they've been for races and adv. modes, but we've had the contact mission and VIP work double payouts. And if people hadn't modded billions the inflation wouldn't have been so severe.

Very, very few people are ignorant of Rockstar's business model. Shark Cards fund the game's maintenance and continued development. Cheating money harms the sales of Shark Cards (though it's debatable that if they magically waved a wand and every glitch/exploit/mod to get money illegitimately vanished forever would cards sales go up).

 

This particular d-bag had over $4.8 trillion. Enough to buy every single thing in the game 10 times over and about as subtle as the guy that stole an ATM by chaining it to the back of his truck and driving back to his house, leaving gouge marks on the streets the whole way. If he had stopped at something in the realm of plausibility- say $50M or $150M - he could have stayed under the radar and still been able to afford everything for the next 3-6 updates.

I think everyone understands the basic idea of shark cards but it runs much deeper than that. The "Osiris situation" was the first really obvious one. Realising a game dominating car only to release a slightly faster one a week later. Ever since then the specials, cars/everything have been released in such a way to trick people into spending. Specials on exsisting supers then.. Reaper, FMJ, BAMM X80. Then bamm! x80 is useless, take a 40% hit everytime (at least but usually it'll be worse due to the following trick). Imagine these hidden cars without the leaks?. Buy a car on sale.. Never worth anything, Buy when full price but sell when on sale.. worth nothing (This especially is bullsh*t). Drop a couple hundred everytime you die.. You used to be able to find and pickup your dropped money you know, hell no not anymore.. Despawn that sh*t outa there. They are getting you in a thousand ways, it's everywhere in this game now, to the point where the orginal vision of the game hardly exsists.. It's barely even a game anymore to be honest.
