  1. 1. If R* provided a gamemode where you could take on the role of an LSPD cop, reacting to player's wanted levels and gaining RP and/or cash for succeeding, with no police repercussions, would you play it?

    • Yes, it would be a dream come true for me!

    • Yes, but not often... I'd just want to try it.

    • Yes, but it would seem kind of silly.

    • No, I already loathe the LSPD reaction and would never be part of it.

    • No, it would be too tedious and a waste of time.

    • No, it's a dumb idea and you should feel shame.

    • Maybe, if it were easy enough to switch in and out of.

im gonna have to go with

'no thanks'

the npc cops are annoying enough, if I wanted power tripping psychos with a badge and anger issues to harass me I would just go and smash the windows of a starbucks.

f*ck the police.

Pretty much GTA atm.

NFS Hot Pursuit type chases, Lethal weapon type action? Fudge Yea!!! (as long as I get to own an FIB Granger)

However, I'd rather hunt npcs than hunt other players.

Hunting other players will make it a mandatory 2-player minimum job & could be abusive for low level or players minding their own business.

...players with wanted level should not be able to commit easy way out. And the bigger level RP wanted player has, the more money you get for capturing hmm alive.

I agree with both comments. Easy Way Out is often as abused as Passive, just not as lamely perceived.

I wouldn't say it would be a dream come true, lol.

I would certainly welcome it and play like that for sure though. Against other players or NPCs. I think it would be fun, I remember playing GTA, hoping in a cop car, going to the computer and hunting down the most wanted list. Something like that would be good fun. Could be most wanted NPCs or a list of the players listed from red to white, the redder the blip the more rp gained. Almost like an impromptu death match that the red blip doesn't need to accept.

I'm sure how ever it would be set up it would be great fun and welcomed by many.

Yeah, I always kind of feel bad for these guys. Like, they're "made" to stand in front of the van, as though it were "standard protocol." lol!

Still, might be one of the most funnest fun things when battling cops in LS. :)

Isn't the point of GTA to be a criminal and not abide by the law?

I mean, I get it, some people find it fun and I'm all for varied tastes in fun, but it wouldn't make sense for someone to become a policeman because everyone so far has robbed banks, owns offices and warehouses for international blackmarket wholesale, and even meth labs and coke labs.

It just makes no sense for us, supposed criminals who are high on the LSPD's wanted list, to easily have all of that ignored as you are given an office desk at the Mission Row police station while your document forgery business is literally right across the street.

so you think being a politician would be better? Is that what you're saying?

It'd be fun to play as a cop with people who know how to have fun. I played FiveReborn on a police RP server and it was f*cking awful. They were the most boring, serious, and lame people I've ever encountered. It didn't even seem like they were enjoying themselves as they spent half of the time yelling at trolls and griefers for breaking character, using godmode, etc.

I reckon it will become easily corruptible and players will turn out like this guy

Knowing Rockstar, if any of these great ideas become true, they'll probably lock it in a sh*tty adversary mode.

Some already are that guy in game, and collect nothing but bounties.

I've run into many that have taken that bounty hunter role further by documenting psn IDs and sending them to Rockstar over a wall breach or something similar, especially in bad sport lobbies. Some of them were actually pretty entertaining to listen to. They would supposedly have rockstar on the phone, a buddy or relative that works for rockstar, or a notepad beside them taking notes of anyone that killed them. Some even had crews that were dedicated to being official "cops" reporting anyone they deemed a cheater/bad sport. I have to give them at least a bit of props for dedication. Lol

(Cheating killers are the worst in my books right beside false reporters/kickers.)

I think it would be a bit much for the whole lobby to always be chased by player cops, I think they should only be counted as part of it by some form of "registering" like VIPs. Maybe Lester puts you in the police database, IDK.

Did someone say APC?

Mmmmm, APC.

Bring that back Rockstar. It was a lovely thing, and could really fit in GTA V.

somebody mentioned APC tank with water cannon.

simple and genius!

we would need some "riot mode" to make good use of the apc water cannon

Maybe just simple random events with multiple npcs, or something included in Vigilante missions.
